Recent Bell Trans. review/other transportation vendors?

I am disappointed to hear the recent Bell Trans. review, I was just about to book them for two limos and shuttles for the day of, but now I'm worried about it. If I got oil on my dress I'd have a fricken coronary. I won't be on the shuttles at all, but still, that's just crazy to me if that got on any of my guests clothes, I'd die.

I know there have been both good and bad reviews with them, but anyone know of a vendor that has more consistent good reviews? Even if it's a little more in price (hopefully not a ton more though). I know I've heard AWG mentioned a few times...

Like you said, I think you will see good and bad reviews for all of them but you could try Lucky Limo or even Presidential. Presidential and Bell Trans are owned by the same company, but they usually have more consistently good reviews.

I think Presidential has had good reviews too.

I'm booking Earth Limo's (clicky) today! They have been great with communication and and their fleet is pretty. Plus I can feel like a tree-hugger for this one thing. We are getting the Mega Stretch SUV limo bus for the day-of because we'll be going for photos with 16 passengers.

I asked for a discount, since I got their name from Platinum's preferred vendor list, and I got one. If you check them for a quote, maybe just mention you got a referral from the knot or me specifically (Natasha M)? I'm all about asking for discounts.
Anyway, the price they quoted me is about $190/hour for that giant vehicle and that includes EVERYTHING- fuel charge, driver gratuity, AND tax. At that, it was about $40/hour more than Bell Trans' party bus, which I felt was pretty good for the vehicle.

AWG was the one I used and had an absolutely awful experience. However, it might have been one of those twilight zone moments because even the contact at Revere was shocked to hear about everything that happened, and I've seen other great reviews for them. I could never personally recommend them after my experience but it seems other people have had amazing service from them.

I did speak with the manager and he said he would take care of it and he did refund half of my shuttle cost. He said that there were a lot of people on vacation and he is not sure what happened. I told him that I wanted him to still investigate this because I DID NOT want this to happen to anyone else. Before I booked them to saw mixed reviews. I just wanted to let you know they did respond to my problems.
