Nevada-Las Vegas

A couple of checks and question [PIP]

Almost done paying Todd ($200 left to pay) and figured out a timeframe lol. Ordered the rest of the flowers for myself and the bridesmaids (they should be here tomorrow, I'll take a picture of my finished bouquet and share it). Got the rest of the stuff for the reception centerpieces. Ordered my birthday/bachelorette party outfit.

Let me explain this lol. My 21st birthday is November 8th, the ceremony is the 10th. We've been together for 7 years November 28th and engaged since last mother's day (last year not this years so technically not last lol). I've always wanted to have my 21st birthday in Vegas and I've always wanted to get married in Vegas. When we first got engaged we both decided we wanted to get married in November. Point is November is important to us haha and this wasn't rushed at all.

But yeah, got a little off topic there. Last check, my wig for the wedding came in today. I ordered it kind of early to see how I'd like it and to make sure it looked good. I have a disorder where I pull my hair so I shave it every once in a while and I like having hair on my head so I wear wigs instead.

Anyhow pictures!! :)

I can't decide if I should part it to the left or right. I like how it is in the right photo a little more though. What do you think?

And my birthday/bachelorette outfit!! The heels are glittery too haha! I'll probably buy some black flats for later in the night though. I'd be crazy as hell to wear those heels all night long lol.

Also for you past brides (and groom) who brought anything to Vegas (favors, gifts, etc.) how did you get it there? Did you send it in the mail to the hotel before you left? I mean we're driving to Vegas because it's only about a 3 hour drive but I'm not sure if everything will fit in our car lol. I might have my dad pick some stuff up or something.

  • Very cute headpiece you've got there!  I agree, I like the picture on the right- seems to go better with the veil and flower/feathers.

  • Aww, you look cute! I like the pic on the right too. Yea, those heels are going to kill you lol but they are cute :)
  • Cute! Love the dress, perfect for a bparty! I agree with the others that the righthand picture looks really nice with your veil. Oh, and great checks!

  • Love everything! And how wonderful to celebrate the bday and wedding in Vegas!! Where did you get the flowers? Are you doing a photo tour with Todd? If so, are you doing it before or after the ceremony? Making a timeline is difficult!
  • I agree with everybody else.. The right is really cute on you and with the veil.

I also wanted to know what pics youre doing and about the timeline

LOVE LOVE LOVE the shoes and the dress... Those are my colors!!!

  • Yes, the pic on the right!

OMG.  That dress is to die for!!!!  And those heels are perfect, but yes your feet will not make it all night!!  LOL!!

I'm located a little north of you in Fresno, and we are driving too and taking all of the wedding stuff. My mom has a big SUV, but if you are afraid everything wont fit in your car I would have your dad take some stuff too.  And yes you can send some of the stuff before hand via mail, UPS or Fed Ex.  I had one of my bachelorette parties in April in Vegas and my friend that was in charge lives in Illinois and she sent three boxes of "supplies" to the hotel about a week before the festivities.  Not sure how much it would cost, but it's definitely an option :)

  • I agree, I think the picture on the right is more flattering.  So awesome that you are celebrating your 21st in combo with your bparty and so close to your wedding :)  Maybe stash some flexible ballet flats in your purse for when your feet start to hurt, I saw too many girls walking back barefoot when I was in Vegas a few weeks ago!

<div>I ordered all of my flowers through Afloral (<a href="http://afloral.com)" rel="nofollow">http://afloral.com)</a> and I spent about $100 total after shipping so I'm saving quite a bit although I'm using my $200 floral credit in my package for the boutonierres and kissing balls for my 2 flower girls.</div><div>
</div><div>I'm doing a mini-photo tour with Todd and we have him for 8 hours btw. I say mini because there are only a few spots I want to visit and we have an hour and a half tops.</div><div>
</div><div>Our MUA arrive at 11am and they said they should be done by 1pm at the latest (we're doing makeup only for 3 people including myself) and Todd is arriving at noon. Once we're done we're doing a first look on the way to the limo and we're doing photos in front of the fountains at the Bellagio and in front of the Revolution lounge are at the top of my list. I cut out fremont street and the LV sign to save on time because our ceremony is at 3:30pm. After the ceremony we're doing formals and doing pictures around Caesars on the way to the reception which starts at 5pm and is at Joe's in the forum. :)</div><div>
</div><div>But yeah we're doing our photos kind of before and after haha.</div>
  • Love the hair in the right picture! Did you buy your shoes at justfab like your ceremony/reception shoes? I've looked at their site but I'm not sure about having to order a pair every month.
  • I like the picture on the right.  Not that the location of the part matters, but I think the veil looks good near the part.

I feel for you ladies with Trich.  My best friend has had it as long as I can remember, and it's a constant struggle.  Regardless, you look friggin fabulous.

  • germanlinda The shoes and the dress both came from http://amiclubwear.com and I spent $28 on both including shipping because of a coupon code I found on retailmenot lol. The total was $17 before shipping!!! I ordered it on Wednesday and it actually arrived today! Their stuff isn't the best of quality but I probably won't wear this stuff very much so that's not a huge concern of mine and the shoes are actually pretty comfy. As far as my ceremony shoes I used my mom's account to buy them and I think with Justfab you can just place one order and not do the monthly thing but you still have to have an account. Idk it's kind of confusing.

alexi120 Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! :)
