Hello There-I am a bride who wanted to elope Smile My finace and I came up with a nice compromise...a small wedding (guest list fo 50) in Vegas.  Right now I am leaning towards a ceremony at the Bellagio....has anyone had a wedding at the Bellagio?  Please voice your opninon.  I cannot decide on a reception or dinner.  Any suggestions for a reception venue?

Thanks guys!!

  • The Bellagio chapels are very nice.  They have a very traditional/classic look to them, not contemporary, but are very well kept and show no signs of wear and tear like some chapels.  The Bellagio staff are also extremely attentive.  We decided not to use them but they were our #2 option if our first choice didn't work out.  I don't think you would have any issues with them.  Check the Wynn too for something similar.

You can do a reception with them too if you want but before making recommendations on that we should get an idea on your budget and what you're looking to do.

  • for a small wedding, i would suggest chapel of the flowers. very nice. great staff. free coordinator to help you remember little stuff. and in my opinion, you get more for your dollar. my $2000ish paid for a very nice wedding package, flowers and photography included, and a reception that will feed 37 adults and one child under the age of 8.

  • I have booked the Platinum Misora room and terrace for our wedding of 45. I loved Bellagio initially and wanted to use their terrace (despite the additional cost) but I am so glad I did not do that. We went on a scouting trip to LV in December and i went to see the terrace - it is TINY!!!! Cannot imagine 50 guests standing by to watch your ceremony. Also, it is near a very public area on the inside of the hotel and everyone can observe your happenings (don't know if that matters to you).

I have not seen the chapels at Bellagio in person but I agree that they look a little outdated.

We have chosen the Platinum for many reasons but my top ones are:
    1. I get a rooftop private wedding
    2. Ceremony + reception are in one location with a gorgeous view and a perfect size for a 50-person wedding
    3. The coordinators seem very helpful so far and always responded before any of the other hotels I connected with
    4. Price - very reasonable
    5. Flexibility - they are EXTREMELY flexible which most of the other hotels were not - I can remove things from the package and use the $$$ towards other upgrades; I can bring in my own photographer, etc..
    6. I get to have a reception that is not in a regular restaurant or in a suite but a more traditional dinner + dancing.

There are a few brides who had their ceremony and/or reception at the Platinum and they have been very helpful. Let me know if you wanted more info on my planning. I am working on updating my bio.

    Happy Planning!
  • How much do you want to spend PP?  Do you want to dance and do all the "typical" things that go with a reception or just eat and go out somewhere like a lounge?
