YAY a nearly date twin! Yes, I get the heat comment all the time, but we lived in Texas for a while, we're good with heat - not to mention we have water bottles, we have fans and we will be outside for a minimum amount of time. Although I am slightly worried about how much I'll be gross and sweaty in my dress.

We're getting married at VOF at Mandalay and then dinner at Maggiano's - after that there's no plan.

    What about you?

We are getting married at cp then having reception at ph.  Who are your
cake, photographer vendors?  I am a little worried about me in the dress as well but we will have a short ceremony and reception will be in doors with air conditioning. When are you taking pictures on the strip or are you?

I am getting married on July 11 at VOF.  We are a little worried about the heat as well.

We are wanting to order fans too.  What vendor did you use for your fans and which ones are you using?

We asked our wedding coordinator about water and she told us there was a wal mart down the street.  We really dont want to be worrying about shopping for water.  How are you getting water for your guests?

Hey there KRISTY637! CP is supplying are guest with water and we are making fan programs key word making...lol but I know a few ladies have ordered some I think! Your venue isn't providing water for the guest? Who is you photographer? Who is doing your cake? And where is your reception? Oh yeah I know a few post back there is a site you can check the heat for that day.

    jayhess-
We are getting married at juno garden at CP also...on August 7, and I haven't heard anything about water for our guests....was that included in your package, or complimentary, or did you have to pay extra for that?

Our venue (VOF) is providing water and we bought the fans through them as well. Kristy - who is your WC? That's insane that they told you to go to Wal-Mart! Ours said it was no problem and they could either hand them out to guests or have them on each seat - so there's no way that VOF does not provide this service, we are paying extra for it, but she shouldn't have told you to go to Wal-Mart.

Jayhess - we are not doing a cake or photographer. We get Cashman for the service, and posed pictures afterwards and my Dad (who's amazingly skilled and has all the equipment) is going to take getting ready photos and reception ones. My only concern is that he's not going to be in too many so we will have someone taking pictures of when I first see him and that sort of thing.

Sloane99 - Our wedding coordinator is actually Aleena, although I'm having difficulty getting her to reply to my emails.  I called to speak with her and Michelle ,another WC, told me about Wal-Mart.  We also mentioned that we were looking into buying fans and she never mentioned that we could purchase fans through them??  If you dont mind me asking, how much are they charging you for fans and what do they look like?  It would be so much easier if we ordered them at VOF instead of worrying about shipping.  How many guests are you expecting and how many fans did you order?

Jayhess - I thought about making my own program fans because the ones I've seen online are sooo expensive.  However, I am DIY challenged and am going to just buy personalized cheaper fans.  I saw some online for $1.45 each I think I will consider.

We are having the reception at the Border Grill in Mandalay Bay.  I hired Bently and Wilson Photography for photos after the ceremony and reception.  He seemed very reasonable and has great reviews.  We are ordering our cake through Mandalay Bay.  We haven't chose on yet, but I am hoping we will be satisfied.

jayhess- Thanks, I suppose I should mention something to my WC about the water then!  It would be so nice to have that for out guests and not worry about getting it from somewhere else! We are having our dinner at Cafe Lago buffet (which I have been second guessing, but too late really, paid for most of it up front).  We are having an open bar at BB Kings at Mirage...I have been really pleased with their customer service so far (actually better than customer service at CP or Flamingo (where our guests are staying)).

Kristy - I think the water is a couple of bucks a bottle and the fans, gawd, the fans, I wouldn't necessarily order them based on price alone. We paid $110 for 12 of them and ordered two dozen as we'll have roughly 20 guests there. They were included in our THEFAVORS flyer that we got from MB after signing our contract. They're not that cute even but we wanted to have them and ordered them and since I've seen other posts on fans I'm totally regretting the impulse purchase.
