Paris Restaurants

Hi All! Just wondering if anyone has had or knows someone who has dinner at any of the restaurants in Paris after their ceremony. Mon Ami Gabi is beautiful but kind of on the "pricy" side. Le Provencal??????

bflybutt had her reception at Le Provencal Planning Biohttp://gthorne81.googlepages.com/bio Her Review that she posted on the board: Le Provencal A+++ Okay, I had my fair share of heartache and then some planning our reception dinner. I had to go through 4 coordinators (who kept getting fired) before I landed Sheryl who could not be cuter and more helpful. This girl listened to what I had to say, understood that this was important to me, and treated it as if it were her own wedding. The set up was amazing and looked better than I could have imagined. Our cake was huge and turned out exactly as I was hoping. The staff ran the show like clockwork. All of my guests loved the food and loved how quick and efficient the wait staff was. Here’s the kicker ( and the reason for the 3 “+’s”): They sing. I wasn’t too thrilled about it, but it is only once every hour and they are wonderful. The first song just came over the speaker while the waiter walked around the main restaurat with his mic singing while we ate dinner. We had just finished cutting our cake when they started the second song. They came to our private area and sang “It Had to be You” to us so we could have a first dance. This was not planned and we weren’t going to do a dance at all, but they arranged it as “something nice” for us and it made me cry it was so amazing.

Thank you so much! You made me feel 100 percent better about choosing somewhere that is in Paris since we are getting married there. Do you have any pics of your ceremony/reception. Could you forward me some to my e-mail if you can please: candimo@hotmail.com. I haven't seen any pics of here of any Paris weddings and have been searching high and low and can't seem to find any. Thanks again :):)

The past 3 times I have been to Vegas and went to Mon Ami Gabi I have been so dissapointed! I would recomend not eating there. All three times our food was cold and was even undercooked. The service was awful. I have eaten there before and loved it however it has gotten worse by the times! I would rather pay more and have good food and excellent staff. Le Provencal is good and the service is good as well.

a friend of mine got married at Paris and had their reception/dinner at le provencal.  it was for a party of about 20 people and was fine.  we were not in a private room (i don't know if they have them) but the atmosphere was nice, the food was good, and everyone had a good time.  i went to mon ami gabi for dinner and the food was delicious, but i wasn't there a wedding related event. i hope that helps!
