taking pictures at hotels...that you're not staying at

Can you take pictures at hotels you're not staying at...how does that work? My chapel offers off site photography and I would love to take pics at the bellagio, but I'm not staying there. Also if that's not a possibility does anyone have suggestions for off site locations?

Most of  the photographers know which ones allow it...I'm not sure about Bellagio as I haven't seen it in too many brides' bios. Most certainly check out the Las Vegas sign...soon the slipper from the Boneyard will also be on the strip. Mandalay Bay is also beautiful. I'm sure brides that have been there will know more than I...

Diane_BN had good shots of her strip tour, but her married bio link keeps taking me to her Nest bio. We are specifically planning to do Mandalay Bay after her bio.

We did Bellagio and Paris and MB. We were staying at MB though. But  Paris even let us take pics at the craps table with no problem.  We would have gone to more but ran out of time.  I have pics in my bio if that helps.  I think most of the hotels are use to brides running around it.

I've heard of the Venetian in particular giving trouble to brides who aren't getting married at their chapel.  Anyone have any experience with that?  I'd love to get pictures there, but don't want to deal with the hassle of getting kicked out.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

Assuming you're not staying or getting married at any of these resorts: From South to North Mandalay Bay is generally very photography-friendly. Luxor is pretty photography-friendly. NYNY is generally photography-friendly. Monte Carlo is generally photography-friendly but they only have a few outdoor and indoor places good for photos. Paris is photography-friendly outside. Bellagio does not allow photography inside but will often not catch you outside (unless you take pictures near the valet parking after security already stopped you inside). Caesar's Palace is photography-friendly outside. Don't know about inside. Palazzo doesn't have much of interest inside to take photos of. Venetian is photography-friendly outside and anywhere besides the Canal Shoppes, which is owned by an outside corporation. The Canal Shoppes may allow photography if requested in advance. Treasure Island has been photography-friendly for brides getting married there. Wynn is photography-friendly for brides getting married or staying there, and probably fine outside for anyone. They may not be photography-friendly inside. Sahara and Riviera don't have any photo-worthy attractions that justify stopping. Don't know about MGM, Excalibur, Your miles may vary for Wynn, inside NYNY, inside of Paris, and around Treasure Island. However, Bellagio will stop you within 5 minutes of taking photos inside if they see a photographer with a bride, and tell your photographer to cease and desist if you're not staying or married there. The best variety of environments and scenery for photography are at Mandalay Bay, followed by Venetian, the outside area of Bellagio and Paris (as a pair), Wynn, and Caesar's Palace.

We tried to take pictures inside the Wynn but were kicked out by one of their security guards.  The security guard was actually very rude and our photographer (Todd) said that he had never had issues with the hotel before.
