Another dress shipping question

How did you package it? We are shipping my dress, crinoline, and veil along with FI's tux and my mom's dress. I'm afraid to squish and mangle my dress, but if I don't, then the box will have to be almost as big as my car which is obviously not going to work.

    I used this as a guide: http://www.beachbridetobe.com/packingyourdress.htmlI found it when I was looking for info on shipping my dress and it worked well. (Rolled the dress from the bottom up to squeeze out excess air.) The only problem I had was packing my crinoline. If you are having that steamed as well, I would recommend a vacuum bag for it. I couldn't get the air to squeeze out of it at all. It kept repoofing.Debi called and said it shipped well. I just rolled it right in my vinyl bag that I got from the bridal store and it was no problem. Same thing with my bridesmaid dress, which I packed in a breathable garment bag from Walmart or somewhere inexpensively.
