Caesars Brides - clarification re: outside photographer

i think i need some clarification regarding outside vendor fees, as related to photographers when it comes to Caesars.

the outside fee is $200 - correct?  does this mean, if i pay $200 i can have my own photographer come in and take pictures of my full ceremony (using their flash, etc)?

i feel like i keep reading different things - some people could have their photographer there but they couldn't use a flash, some people have said no one could take pictures at all during their ceremony.  but i know i have seen Chelsea Nicole wedding pictures from Caesars.

anyone know the "rules" at Caesars?

I'm not sure about the rules, but I think I know where you are getting confused. The knottie that just had her ceremony was saying that the outside photographer fee was $200. Technically, guests were not supposed to be able to take pictures, but when the ceremony came around it was fine as long as they didn't use flash. I think she was saying she would have just had her photographer pretend to be a guest and shoot without flash to avoid the outside photographer fee since they had good natural lighting anyways. I'm just guessing though? Hopefully someone else can give you a more definite answer.

yeah.  i think i've been reading too many bios/vendor reviews and i'm blurring everyone together and getting confused.

i think my bottom line question is - if i pay the $200 outside vendor fee, will my outside photographer be able to shoot my ceremony, without any restriction?

i guess i could always just call Caesars, but i feel like this board is far more informed then most of the vendors, haha.

I tried to ask the Caesars wedding chapel's sales lady this same question. She never explained it well. I think if you pay the $200 outside vendor fee they won't schedule the in-house photographer to shoot your ceremony. I don't know if that changes anything with the DVD recording of the ceremony.

Typically if you pay the outside vendor fee your photog can take pics of your ceremony without any restrictions, and they will not schedule the in house photog.

If you are using the in house photographer some locations will allow your photographer to take pictures from their seat just as any other guest would.

If you use the photographer that comes with the package, can you do the pictures prior to the ceremony as opposed to afterward?
