Reception at the House of Blues

I'm thinking about having the reception at the House of Blues... has anyone looked into this place or used it before?  Any info would help.  Thanks :)

My FI and I looked into it.  The smaller room in HOB is the new orlenas room and has a $3500 + 20% + tax minimum food & beverage fee to rent it, it seats 36 or 50 standing.  The napolean deck is 40 seated or 60 standing, $4000 + 20% + tax.   Both rooms together can be had for $7000++.

If you have a larger party, the crossroads restaurant is the big open room towards the back of the restaurant and is $15000 + 20% + tax to buy out, it holds 175 people seated.  They're reconfigure and redecorate it as you want but that involves more fees.

The foundation room on top of the hotel I think is about $22k++ if you want the inside area plus balcony.

$3500?? The Catering manager quoted a $2500 minimum for the Napolean or the New Orleans.. though I would prefer the Shangri La.. but I don't have enough people to fill that room...  I was going for a fun atmoshpere but still nice.. I thought this would be a good spot... Though it is sounding expensive :/

They may have lowered it since when we got the rates if they quoted $2500; it was $3500 as of last June.
