DD Bus - What type of alcohol?

I am wondering what type of alcohol to purchase for our DD Bus Happy Hour. Beer makes the most sense because it is so easy, but I know we have some guests that are not beer drinkers? I can't imagine trying to pour drinks?

Any previous experience or plans?

TIA!
Molly

We are doing beer and boxed wine that comes out a nice spout...(no corkage needed and its actually pretty tasty!). DD bus is nice enough to put everything on ice for us so its ready and cold when we get picked up. Also bottled waters and Diet coke are a must for us as well.

When I was looking into the DD bus for possible transportation, I believe they said any drinks had to be in plastic bottles or cans (no glass) for safety reasons - so that may limit your drink options.  I don't really know of any wine that comes in a plastic bottle .... hmm.  Good question.

I don't know what you have in your area, but by my house we have Bevmo and by my parents house it's Binnys. These are huge liquor stores where they have as huge variety of wine, liqueurs, craft beers, etc.

There's actually a lot of good California wines that are box wines and I've found this at BevMo

Margaritas in a box!! I love it!

I guess I will need to see what is available once I get there or start calling.

Ditto PP's about boxed wine - I know it has a stigma of being redneck, but they have actually come out with some excellent wines!

I love their cab.  For whites, I actually just like the Big House white....

ETA - I have a friend who is a bit of a wine snob; he was over at our house one night and had turned his nose up to the Black Box but he finally tried it.  The next time I was at their house, he had a box of it.

Since everyone is talking about alcohol. We are providing it on our strip tour as well but I was just thinking that I don't know what is sold in the USA! Do you guys have cans of mixed alcohol? Over here we get jim beam, jack daniels, smirnoff etc in cans with mixers. I hadn't even thought to ask before now just took it for granted that they would be available.

We call those boxed wine things goon bags here. Also have redneck (or as we say bogan) connotations here.

Only in glass bottles as far as I know. As, far as individual servings go. I have seen a few mixers with the alcohol already in them and you can get them in plastic bottles.
