Photographer and/or Band Suggestions??

I'm getting married in Las Vegas in July. Can anyone recommend a great wedding photographer and/or wedding band? It makes me really nervous to plan a wedding from across the country!! Thanks!

I'm using Mike L for my photographer. Prices were great and they have been awesome to deal with.

Did you look at the Knottie list?  It has all the different photographers that brides past/current/future are using.

No suggestions for a band, but I worked with Deacon Tyler for photography and it was a great experience!

Bently & Wilson is a name used on this board a lot. I booked him for our wedding. His prices are really reasonable and I like the gallery he has on his website. He was also super nice and easy to work with via e-mail.

I'm using Jeanna Hayes for my photography. We had our engagment photos taken in October and we absolutely love them. She is also really nice and easy to work with and get ahold of.

I can't recommend a band, but I used Jennifer from All Night Long for our photographer and loved her personality and the quality of work.  They gave us a fabulous package price and were willing to work with our quirky contract requirements.

Check out a number of the suggestions (I *love* Bentley & Wilson but they book up fast!) and feel free to ask questions.  Oh and don't worry most of us Vegas Brides did the long distance wedding planning dance!

We've got Mike L booked for next year and so far they've been super responsive even on little questions.

For bands, we wanted a band too but I eventually just gave up because I could not find one that was exactly what we wanted.

In case you do have your heart set on a band, here are some I found during my research that I never contacted but that I thought seemed like legit bands that actually play regularly, perhaps one of them would be a good fit for you (not all are local to vegas but the non-locals looked liek they would travel, obviously that would be a lot more expensive):
