Anyone's FI bringing their suit on the plane?

If so, are you getting it steamed when you're in Vegas, or steaming it before you go and hope they can hang it up or lay it in the overhead bin and hope it doesn't get wrinkled?

I'm about to book Fit for a Bride for my dress, and trying to decide on paying the $25 for his suit....

TIA!

I'm getting there Thurs before our Saturday wedding and was going to see how my tux looks that night after hand steaming it.  If it's not up to par I'll have Mandalay press it Friday.  If you're already getting your dress done, I'd just do the suit too since the cost of having any resort laundy service press it is probably gonig to be $25 anyway so might as well give the money to a small business.

Good points Vegasgroom, that's kinda what I was thinking too.  What is your FI doing for her dress, I know she's bringing it on the plane and paying for an extra seat (I think that was you guys), but is she still getting it steamed/pressed in Vegas or no?

She's undecided between Fit for a Bride or having the hotel do it; I'm thinking Fit for a Bride, since who knows who the hotel will send it out to, seems better to have a known entity take possession of it from pick up to return rather than a third party, but my FI and brides in general don't always seem to think the same way as me. :-)

Haha, nice, totally true sometimes on the thinking differently:)  Yeah I was debated on it too, that's why I asked cause I knew you guys were at MB.  I was reading through some Knottie bios at one point and I know there was a bride who used MB for her's and only paid $40 and she said it turned out really well.

However, even though mine will cost me $100, I still would feel more comfortable with Fit for a Bride I'm thinking.  I don't think I've heard a bad review about Debi and only one review for MB, so I think I'll just sack up and pay it!

I'm pretty sure FH is will want to take his on the plane as opposed to shipping it. I am also sure it will need to be pressed but that service is included with our suite o we're good.
If you're going to book Debi than maybe it makes sense to add your FI's tux and call it a day. $25 is reasonable and she's completely trustworthy.

But.. but.. but your a boy, you just don't understand!!! :D

I would go with fit for a bride just because she knows how to handle wedding dresses, I couldn't imagine if something went wrong!! I think I saw on SYTTD one time she took it to a cleaner and they threw it in the WASHING MACHINE. Better to be safe than sorry!!

I would not trust anyone but Debi either.  Hotels can take longer too (even wiith a reservation) because as VegasGroom said they don't always have on site steaming services.

Yeah actually if she ends up going with Debi I'll probably just have her do all the tuxes too so me and the boys dont have to deal with it and can focus on tequila and video games in the media suite lol.

Our WC actually suggested Debi to me in her last email.... strange, she broke the Wynn's rules for life :)
