Harmony Medina/Glam Squad

Hi.  I am condsidering booking Harmony Medina, based on what I see online.  Can anyone who has worked with her tell me about their experience?  I like her pictures and like the price. 

I also read good things about Glamsquad which is about the same price wise. 

How did you get your style worked out with either of these groups from long distance?  I am not arriving till the day before my wedding, so pretty sure the first time I see them will be to prepare for my main event.  Feeling a little scared to commit!

Open to other recomendations too, but want to keep it around the $130 range.  Have seen lots of good reviews, just wondering how it all works long distance.

I booked glamsquad and LOVED them. From the amazing reviews I had read about them, I trusted that they would master the look that I wanted on the day of my wedding (we also flew in the day before). I saved photos of the looks I liked in my phone and showed it to them, the day of the wedding (for hair and makeup) and they exceeded my expectations!!!

Did you get regular make up or air brush.  You look wonderful.  Earlier I was leaning towards Harmony, and now I am leaning towards Glamsquad.  Did you do false eyelashes or anything?

I used Harmony and I adore her. I will work with her whenever I wanna be dolled up when I am in Vegas. She made me feel super comfortable. I emaled her quite often from time of booking till the wedding, we talked on the phone etc. She was helpful. I had a trial with her 2 days before the wedding and that is included. Hair and makeup held up all night and into the wee morning with the trial and day of, I didn't have to pay extra for airbrushing or fake eyelashes.  I could go on and on and on about her. Her prices are great and I never found anyone in a lower price point. But I don't think Glamsquad prices are as low as her's? I know when I was looking they were not. At least no for myself, my mom and my 4 bridesmaids who wanted hair and makeup done.

I booked Harmony for my upcoming May wedding. She's easy to get a hold of and her prices are reasonable. Plus looking forward to the trial 2 days before the wedding. Whoo hoo

I wanted to book Harmony for my wedding but she was already booked. I have read great things about her and loved her portfolio.

I finally decided to reach out to Harmony and will see how it goes.  If it doesn't work out I guess the glamsquad will be my next choice.

@ ninaq06- When I looked at Glamsquad the price for hair and makeup was $135, don't know if they tack on anything else.  Harmony is listed as $130. 

I really love the look she has it is pic #5 of 65 in her portfolio (minus the little picture on side of her face and drawn on lashes below).

Yeah I was quoted like 180 or something close in that price range and that was for airbrush and I think they charged the same for all bridal party. That's why I chose Harmony because I didn't have to pay more for airbrush and she charged less for the bridal party.

I used Glamsquad also, they do AMAZING work! I showed them a couple photos, together we narrowed it down to one. I have never felt more beautiful! James gave me the false eyelashes for free (which I have read on other people's reviews also) I went with the airbrush make up which lasted from 2 well past midnight. Good luck!

Thanks everyone.  I wound up booking Harmony and have a trial the day before that is included in the price.  I'll be sure to give a review after my big day!
