Flower Question - need bouquet before ceremony

I am waiting to hear back from the Flamingo about their policy but I can't wait until the ceremony for my bridal bouquet. We are doing 2 hours of pictures prior. Has anyone run into problems bringing their own bouquet?

I am also wondering if anyone has suggestions for rose petals? I want to decorate the Vista Suite with flower petals and votive candles and was not too sure if you would get the flowers from the florist and what the cost might be.

Thanks so much!
Molly

Hi Molly. Could you ask the chapel if you could pick the flowers up early? I doubt that would be a problem.

Re rose petals, I have just gotten a quote for 10 dozen roses worth and was quoted $300. So approx $30/dozen.

    Great idea!

Is your rose petal quote from a local florist?

    Thanks!

I am getting married at Caesars and I am paying $200 to use an outisde florist and bring all my own flowers.  We're also doing photos before and they flowers are being delivered to our hotel that morning.  I am sure the flamingo has the same or similar rules since they are a 'Caesars' property now too (used to be 'Harrah's).

For rose petal you could order them online and have them delivered to MB business center. It might be cheaper.

Thanks for those links LittleMissScareAll -- I think I am going to go down this route if our restaurant doesn't mind scattering them for us. What a bargain - $52 for enough petals to cover 20 square feet!

Wow! Thanks for the link! Is there any issue having deliveries to MB Business Center?

I'm also getting married at the Flamingo and having pictures taken two hours before the ceremony and they told me that they will let you pick the flowers up early, you just have to let them know in advance so they can tell the florist to have the flowers ready early.

Shouldn't be a problem. I've heard other brdies say that they have shipped favors and whatnot ahead of time. I would call MB and ask exactly how it would need to be done.
