"Private" dinner at Yolos?

Has every had a dinner here with a large group of people? I contacted the group sales person and she said for 30 or 40 people they would put 4 tables of 10 to the side of the restaurant but it isn't like a private room. Has anyone had any experience with this? I just want to make sure it is private enough for our families to mingle and get to know each other.

We are booking our Welcome Dinner here (when it is within 3 months!) - they do not have a Private room. I haven't actually been there before, but I would have thought that some tables out to the side in a corner will be fine. It's quite nice to have the ambience of other people around as well, I think. Saves any awkwardness / silent moments!

I would ask her if she could put the tables in the back of the restaurant simply because the front opens into Planet Hollywood casino area, which will be noisy.  If you are towards that back you should be fine to be able to mingle amongst each other and not have noise from the casino area.  Its a beautiful restaurant though, its very modern and the margaritas are great!!

I have eaten there a couple times and any time there is a large group they put them in the back of the restaraunt and there is a kind of corner section where they tend to be. Honestly with a group of that size, I think your crowd will be able to mingle without a problem and other patrons might wonder what all the excitement is about LOL
I believe one Knottie had her reception there, can't recall her name.

How did your dinner go at Yolos? I am thinking of having my wedidng dinner there as well for about 30 people. We are getting married this May.
