Meet and Greet Idea

Hello all, I was thinking of having a meet and greet at a bowling alley on the strip.  As anyone done this or seen anyone doing this.  Any suggestions of a nice bowling alley on the strip in vegas?  Thanks in advance.

I think I remember a bride from quite awhile back who did this at the Orleans and it worked out really well. This was something I would have loved to do, but DH's parents insisted on hosting a traditional rehearsal dinner (I'm not complaining, it was very generous of them to host this for us).

    That's a great idea!

I am considering renting the double decker bus for 2 hours after the ceremony for a strip tour and some pics and then going to the reception...But I am not too sure..I don't want my guests drunk before the actual reception starts :) Not sure how to make it work....

I did a Day Ater Pizza & Bowl at the Orleans.  It was lots of fun.  The place is big, the staff is fabulous and the pizza was good too.  We broke down into teams and bowled for prizes.

I don't know, but I think it was more fun because this was the third day together for the group and was our last event before retiring to the Paris pool & cabana on our last day.  Even people who had never met before the trip were tallking and sharing photos from the Meet & Greet, Wedding & Reception.

I guess it depends on your crowd too. My group of 50 was mixed.  Some kids & young poeple, but a good mix of the over 60 crowd.  Most people got into it, and those that didn't shared stories & photos and went gambling while the rest bowled.  As a regular Meet & Greet, I don't think it would have been as successful .

The double decker tour sounds fun also, I have considered that option.  Does anyone have any pricing about the tour?  Any pros or Cons?  Thanks in advance.
