I was thinking about going here after the wedding.
Has anyone been here before? Is it pretty fun?
TIA!Smile

I  have never been to Eye Candy. However it is one of the lounges that I am considering taking my guest for our after party. I have read a few great reviews about Eye Candy, But it would be nice to get a thumb up from a past  knot bride.
    Happy Planning

I went there for drinks... It's alright there.  It's in the middle of the casino and there's a small dance floor.

What about the Mix or house of blues?  The view is great as they're located at the very top floor of MB.

Or you can go bar/club hopping around MB.  That's what we did.

Eye candy is good if you want a non smoking atmosphere and free entry. The DJ was decent and the video screens all over are really cool. Mix is amazing though! It has the best view in Vegas and the outdoor patio is great, but the dance floor is pretty small. It's got a more mellow atmosphere, which I think is nice.

Does MIX have a cover charge?
I was looking for a cool place for everyone to drink/dance that would be no cover and no hassle getting 30-40 people into.
Im open for any suggestions. Thanks!

Then Eye Candy sounds like the place for you because there's no cover. Mix is about $20-25 per person, which is average for the clubs in Vegas. For a group that large, especially if you have a lot of guys, then Eye Candy will be the least amount of stress for you. The drinks can be pretty expensive (like anywhere in Vegas, but if you get there early you can take advantage of the free couches and tables, which is rare in this town. Have fun!

We looked at Eyecandy too, but you can only make reservations if you order bottle service which put me off.

I think MIX is a more chilled out place and the 64th floor views should wow my guests. There is a $20 cover charge per person, I am currently in the process of seeing if it can be waived, as it will be a Tuesday night and we are a large group. I believe at MIX there are enough seats to not have to order bottle service.

We didn't do anything formal at Eye Candy, but ended up making that the central meeting place and went there after the wedding. It was good because it was in the middle of everything and people could come and go with no cover. The girls did some dancing and the guys gambled and it worked out well. We didn't make any reservations and they didn't seem to mind us there as a group ever as long as we kept buying drinks.

If y'all decide on Mix lounge let us know how it goes....I'm considering doing our meet & greet cocktails there on a friday night (before wedding), as everyone's staying at the MB complex & I'd like it to be mellow...If it's cool, I'll pickup the cover tab for my party.  If not, well there's always someplace in Vegas who'll take a couple of grand!

Mix is great, my husband and I are local and we went there for our bachelor/bachelorette party. But if you need a table for a large group it can be really expensive. Bottle service anywhere in town starts around $250-300 for every 4 people. If you're reserving a large group be sure to ask for discounts, and you might be able to get 2-for-1 bottle service.

I never liked the clubs that were so packed you can't move and no where to sit, so Mix was a perfect fit for us. We were just there last week actually. Nice lounge atmosphere with a DJ and a small dance floor, and lots of seating even if you don't purchase a bottle. Even better if you opt for bottle service though. You can't beat the view there, here's a photo of us on the patio:

    Thanks!

The great thing about bottle service is that you have a table, as well as whatever bottle of alcohol you want with all the mixers included. Since drinks can be around $10 each anyway, it ends up being a decent deal. I think one bottle of rum is around $250, and it goes up for tequila, etc. And don't forget to factor in the tip for your cocktail waitress too! I would call a host and see if you can get a deal, maybe buy one get one bottles, since you've got such a large group. But remember that Mix has free seating all around, so if you just wanted to reserve one table with bottle service that would be fine. It just depends on your group. After party? Well Cathouse is great for after hours, and Drais has been a local favorite for years. Have fun in Vegas!

Thanks for the tips. Drais look like a cool club. Oh I am still interested in a comedian.
