New to the Knot and doing Vegas!

So we have planned at Chapel of Flowers-  Is there anything you guys can recommend not to have or to have?

Has anyone planned for the guitarist to play during ceremony?  We booked that but didn't want it to be cheesy.

Welcome!  I don't know about  COTF, but I don't remember hearing anything bad about them.  Check their web page and see if you can watch previous weddings.  That should give you an idea of what their ceremonies are like and you will get to see all the different things they do and go from there:)

I am a COTF bride - never even knew you could hire a guitarist  but it sounds nice! They have been really great with answering my questions in a timely manner.
One thing I was not too happy about recently is realising that the photos included in the package are only for the ones taken during the ceremony, not taken afterwards. You have to upgrade to at least the Violet photography add-on to include pictures with your family and friends which is cheeky, considering I paid extra to have time in the garden after the ceremony for that precise reason!

But other than that I have been pleased so far. Whichchapel / garden are you using?

You can find my reviews of COF in my bio.  Was married there on June 1.  Here is a tip - you don't need to get the violet package for family shots.  I had the sunflower package which only included wedding party shots.  However, he took whatever shots I wanted.  I also had the extra time on the grounds.

We had chose the magnolia initially then changed out minds, as i was chatting with them to change the chapel to the new La Capella one, she booked me, I called to confirm ( a habit I do) and sure enough they didnt even have those time slots available unless i wanted to be married at 8 at night so I switched back..  the guitarist was 150 extra, I thought it would be more unique then the music they play. Thanks for the photo advice

    Congratulations!

I was married at COTF on May 19. You can see my review and pics in my bio. I had very positive experience with everyone we dealt with, very professional and courteous. We have received so many compliments on our photos and people loved the live webcast. I wanted lots of photos so did upgrade my package and also bought the photo CD, which came with a separate slideshow CD of all our photos.

Oh! I asked my WC if the Sunflower package would be sufficient (I am desperate for the family confetti-throwing shot!) and she said no, the minimum one was Violet. I think I will just suck up the difference, as I don't want to miss out. But bummer.

It is up to you on the photo upgrade. I totally understand being nervous about it. I definately wanted family photos and a group shot of our 24 guests. I chatted online with a WC and they would only say those shots would be "guaranteed" with an upgrade. However, I read a previous review online somewhere and she also mentioned that she had the basic package and they still took family shots so I risked it. The photog didn't miss a beat as soon as we were done with just our photos he asked what group shots I wanted. So we got the family shots and a great group shot. He would have kept going but I said that was it - as we were doing more photos on the tour anyway. I figure ultimately they want to try to rope you into buying the CD - so what better way to do that then to be sure to take all the photos you want :)
