I'm so sad... I might have to postpone our wedding until next november. It would be the date I originally wanted, but we decided to get married in the spring since FH wants to open his business in the spring or summer.

We were talking today and it seems like that might not happen.

I was so excited to get married in 6 months.

We booked the venue and everything.

Because financially we are dying.
We don't know how we're going to buy food or pay rent at the beginning of next month.

I'm sorry you have to postpone  But, you'll have longer to save up for the wedding you really want!  Good luck!

Awww im sorryyy and totally understand how disappointing that is,,I have been there!  We had to do that last year....But just try to think positive that it will be so much better when you can afford some of those lil extras you were probably havin to cut out before.....Hugs!

Thanks for the support everyone! I'm hoping we'll be able to get back on our feet quickly. The next couple months will be hard for sure. I told my mom that we might have to postpone and she said we shouldn't because it's something good to look forward to. I get what she's saying but there have been issues with my MOH and her being able to attend in the spring. Right now my whole life is up in the air and I don't like it very much.

I'm sorry to hear that. Whatever happens the wedding will always be something to look forward to so don't worry if you have to postpone by just a few months in order to sort out other things in your life. It will pay back to plan it when everything else feels right and you both can really be happy about it. I know sometimes it sucks to be a reponsible adult *_*.

Yeah. My mom just doesn't want me to change it because she already told her brothers and sister that it's going to be in April. I asked her not to tell, but shes too excited. If postponing it makes it so my MOH will be there for sure, I'm ok with changing it. I guess it just really depends if FH is going to be able to open his business.
