Got the dress finally!

I haven't been on here in forever. But now that school is finally over I can devote way more time to wedding stuff!  I got my dress yesterday.  The best part was that it was on sale and I only paid 250.00.  I got it at http://www.botticelliri.com/ in RI, the same store my MOH got her wedding dress at last year.  So now I just need to find a good seamstress in my area and figure out how to get it to Vegas.  I'm thinking shipping it will be easier than bringing it on the plane but I'm kinda nervous about it getting lost or damaged.  Any advice on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks!  This was  a huge one to get off my list.  It's such a relief to finally have a dress that I absolutely love. I'd been to 3 other places before this one so I was starting to feel a bit nervous.

UPS it to Debi. There have been quite a few knotties who have done this and it has turned out fine. Get a tracking number and insurance.

Thank you all.  Sorry I have been MIA for so long.  I ended up traveling with the FI on a business trip last minute...but now I'm back and ready to get planning again.  I still can't decide if I want to ship the dress or not.  I've heard so many shipping horor stories from my Nana who does ebay.  How far in advance do you ship it?
