85 days woo woo!!

Seems like yesterday I was in tripple digits! Sent invitations yesterday and bought some silk flowers for my MOH's and bridesmaid's bouquets. Although, my niece the bridesmaid has decided to open up a bottle of crazy that she's been hiding in her pocket and claims she may not be able to make it to Vegas after all for various reasons that make no sense (and she already has her dress). Kinda makes me sad, but what can you do?!

I think we might move our welcome party closer to the strip and have it at Yolos at Planet Hollywood.

Kind of at a stand still for now, waiting on RSVPs so we can finalize the menu etc.

Anyone have any wedding checks or do anything wedding related the past few days??

Yay! I can't wait til we are that close! It seems forever away. I am as we speak on YouTube looking for inspiration for my processional song - so many little details to attend to, it's probably a good thing I am still so far out!

Boo about your niece - hopefully she will come good - who can resist a trip to Vegas? I am a travel agent and I am booking our friends and family's flights and hotel from the UK - a lot of pressure but it is exciting knowing more and more people are confirming and puttng their money where their mouth is! Still a good while from sending the invites, it's all a bit backwards but I love it!

    Cool

Under 100 seems to go by so much faster than being over 100! That's too bad about your niece, but you have a good attitude about it, hoepfully she can end up coming.

Have my final cut and colour tomorrow, have confirmed and paid nearly every vendor in full (that felt good) and I get to pick up my rings and dress next week.

Gribbles - what are you leaning towards for processional? This was a big one for me so I love to hear others' ideas.

Well, I am walking down the aisle by myself so I want something that really means a lot to me, and is a bit different. I want it to be strong but pretty.

I adore Imogen Heap but her lyrics are not really wedding-appropriate even though her music is really instrumental and lullabyish. I keep coming back to Cokldplay as well - I love Fix You but it might not be fitting to the occasion.

I have been looking at Vitamin String Quartet doing the Killers (their drummer used to be a photorapher a COF, randomly) or Taylor Swift 'Love Story'.

I also love the instrumentals from Love Actually - the Portuguese Love Theme was what I had my heart set on for months, but I am going round in circles now. When I hear it I will KNOW!

For our recessional we are having 'You've Got the Love' by The Source ft. Candi Staton - I love that it is so strong from the start - it won't get lost as we walk back up!

    I, I, I, me, me, me!

Sorry to hijack your thread EbonyIvory!

Wow, you must be so excited!  I was excited today when my ticker was a single digit for the month, ha ha...

I've just been trying to find boquet inspirations but not really having any luck so far...  We'll also be mailing out our STD's this weekend so that's kind of exciting, but I guess that means I really need to work on our wedding website!

I'm jealous that you got your invites out already!  My wedding is 80 days away (wow!) and I'm still working on those. The invitations have been printed & assembled... but now I'm working on cutting the envelope liners & addressing (printing) the envelopes.

Congratulations, Ebony! (And give that niece a smack upside the head for causing you some pre-wedding jitters.)  Yours is one of the weddings I'm really looking forward to seeing, so I'm as excited as you (ok, maybe not quite as excited, lol).

And Gribbles - too funny ("I I I, me me me!")
