Engagement Pictures

How many couples took engagement pictures?? If so I want to see some!! We just took some last week and I get to see how they all turned out today.. probably this evening. I cannot wait! I'm so anxious!!

We didn't; but we did purchase a photo package that included them, the great photographer (Mike L) agreed to let us use that option for our rehearsal dinner instead.

We did!  You can see a few on the first page of my planning bio.  I'm not 100% thrilled with them, but that's NOT the photographer's fault (she was amazing).  It was like 100 degrees out and I feel like I look terrible, haha. I want to do a "re-do" so maybe we'll do an after-wedding shoot with her.

We didn't, and I don't regret it. Once we got our wedding photos, I'm sure they would have trumped any engagement picture.

We didn't. Also the main reason I would have wanted to is because we are so bad about having the camera out that we only have a handful of pic's together, so that's why it would have been nice.

i had never heard of engagement pictures before coming here but i've seen so many people with fabulous pictures that i'm a little tempted!

We did!  We hadn't planed on it, but late last fall when I heard the Boneyard was closing for construction I didn't want to miss out on the chance to take photos because based on my experience I was pretty sure their construction wasn't going to be finished by our wedding and it was the one place I promised DH we'd take pictures.

We did, we just took our last Sunday. At first I was a little nervous about taking pictures in public, because I felt like people were going to be staring at us. It wasn't that bad and I think it will make us more comfortable taking pictures on our wedding day.  They came out great too and it made our engagement/wedding planning feel more real. Plus we are going to use them for our Save the Date magnet.

We are getting ours done when we go to Vegas in 4 weeks (our vacation) I am so excited! I have Mindy Bean Photography doing them and she is also doing our Wedding. Amazing photographer, can't wait!
