Good Morning

I'm so glad this is a short week! Today may be my last day at work until Jan. 4th because we're going to be leaving to go to our hometown tomorrow night or Wed. morning. I'm having a hard time deciding if I should work tomorrow or not. Extra money is great but a day to relax before leaving Raleigh may be just as wonderful.

Did anyone do anything exciting this weekend? We had a Christmas party and I completed a DIY project last night...I'm so excited about them!! Pics in my blog.

    Morning!  I had a girls weekend this weekend in Charlotte with some of my good friends - one of them is going to Korea the day after Christmas and then to Ghana for a year so this was a last hooray with her for a while!

    I have lots to get done after work today - we have a whole stack of presents to get wrapped at home!

    Good Morning!!  FI and I went and saw AVATAR this weekend, plus some Christmas shopping.  The movie was really good and has a good story behind it. We saw it in 3D which is a must. I didn't think I'd like it but I recommend seeing it. However it was 3 hours, which is too long for me.  I have to start wrapping presents today and clean house, I haven't started either yet.


    krispychickin- Thats so cool about your friend going to Korea and Ghana for a year! May I ask why she is going?

    Good morning! My engagement party was this weekend it was great- despite a few important people not making it because of the weather. I think by far the most disappointing thing though was that my mother (who lives here) couldn't get it together enough to make it to the party. I don't know what is going on with her, but she apparently overslept until noon (the party was 3pm until 6pm) and somehow couldn't get ready in time to make it there before it ended. I should mention, she was the hostess...

    So the weekend was a lot of ups and downs but I am so excited for the holidays!

    Good morning!  Well my mom's side of the family had to move our Christmas party from Saturday to Sunday due to the snow (they live in NW Guilford Co.), which meant I was stuck going to my FBIL's graduation on Saturday.  At least it was drama free (long story). Went to the Christmas party and had a great time with my family.  The only part of this that was a major bummer is my FI is working nights, and couldn't come to the Christmas party.  He was working days on Thanksgiving  and couldn't come to Thanksgiving lunch.  I've concluded my FI will never get to meet parts of my family until our wedding.  The major plus is he has Christmas Eve and Day off this year!  Yay! Smile

    I'm stuck working today and tomorrow, because I have to save up my vacay for the honeymoon.  All I have to say is Hawaii better be worth it!
