Hotel Rooms/Did you stay where you wed?

I think we have talked ourselves out of Wynn, and into Mandalay Bay for our ceremony.....but I LOVE the rooms at Encore, have never stayed at MB.  Wondering if it would be bad to stay at a different hotel than that in which we are marrying, or if it just something I'm trying to make a big deal out of.

Would love reviews/opinions on rooms at Encore/Wynn/MB...did you get upgraded?  Rates?

Where's your reception?
We are staying at Mandalay Bay our wedding nights since we are having our reception in a Vista Suite.

We are staying at MB for the convenience of everything being in one spot...

We are staying at Mandalay Bay (where our ceremony/reception is) for four nights. We are only changing the last night to MGM bc of a great deal!

We're all about keeping everything at the MB.  Our wedding and dinner are both at the MB.  We're splurging and staying at a room in the The Hotel for the weekend.

I say splurging since we live in the area, but didn't want to deal with driving back and forth from our home

I can give you reviews of Encore after our wedding in May.  My sister stayed at TI and got married at Bellagio. I don't think it's uncommon to stay in a hotel that is not the hotel you are getting married.  We've always pretty much stayed in timeshare while down in Vegas and we wanted to stay apart from family so we decided to stay at Encore so then I could just walk over to Wynn for the wedding.  I found a killer deal though so the rate is pretty good.

We're staying in the same hotel we're getting married in.  It's just more convenient.

We're staying in the same hotel as our ceremony for the convenience.

We stayed at the same hotel as our ceremony, because we know we are both bad at being on time for things, and we figured we'd be less likely to be late if we didn't have traffic to deal with.

I'm glad we did. Even being in the same building, I still showed up about 10 minutes after I was supposed to be there.

we get 2 free nights at our hotel (Caesars) from our package.  we plan on staying at CP for a total of all 5 days.

We're getting married/having our reception at MB and are staying at THE Hotel.  If you like Encore, you may consider staying at THE Hotel instead of MB.
