CP Brides - Music/Flowers

I can't remember who said it, but I remember reading that someone opted out of using the CP musician and was able to use that credit towards flowers... does that ring a bell for any one?? I asked my WC and she said that isn't a possibility. I don't really go for the traditional musician type wedding so I want to have a CD of our own songs that have meaning for us.

A simple gerber daisy arrangement is $100 which seems a little high, no??

I got the same answer from my WC...she said they pay the keyboardist/pianist even if we don't use them?!? (We're using a CD as well.)

Flower prices are ridiculous at any of the hotels, but they do allow you to use your own flowers....at a cost of course $200 outside vendor fee.

My WC DID say though that the flowers included in my package will go towards my flower upgrades ( a measly $55 worth but at least its something!)

thanks for the info about the flowers. It is so nerve racking all this "unknown" when planning a destination wedding. We are getting married June 22, 2010. I Noticed that one of is getting married on the 25th. See you there! lol
