When did you book your rooms?

My wedding is on Oct 7, 2010 and we are staying at Planet Hollywood. I want to wait to book until we get closer because I know there will be great deals (I check smartervegas.com daily!). I just don't want there to not be enough rooms.

When did you guys book for your stay?

Our wedding is Sept 2010 and we just booked them yesterday.  We are leaving from Vegas and going right to Cabo (Yay!) for our honeymoon so, we got a better package deal that way through our TA.

We got the honeymoon suite for one night with our package at Mandalay Bay.  We decided to stay in the suite the entire time, so I booked it all right after I booked the ceremony.

I probably wouldn't wait too long.  But, I get nervous about stuff like this!  We are getting married in June, and our hotel is already sold out for the week we are there.  Some of our guests were able to book rooms before the sell out, the others are staying other places on the strip.

We got two nights included in our package, so our wedding coordinator booked our other two nights when we signed our contract.  We did that in October, and my wedding is May 1.

We booked our suite at MB back in January.  But silly me picked our wedding date for the weekend of the NCAA Final Eight, so I figured better to book our room sooner than later.

I booked the Vista Suite about 9 months ago, but....I have been lagging on the room for the night before, trying to get the best deal! So that is next on my to do list =)

I am int he same boat. We are having our ceremomy and recep at Mandalay Bay in November and the rates are climbing. You can always book it so that you have it for now just to be on the safe side through the hotel. You usually only have to pay for the first night. Keep shopping for rates online and book through one of the travel sites and cancel your first reservation if necessary. It's a little extra work but if you can save a few hundred bucks why not?

We booked our suite 6 months out and waited a month to book our rooms because I got an awesome promo.  If you book your room through the hotel and the prices go down you can call and change the promo or add one(my sis & parents did that), at the MGM anyway.

I got the Vista suite for the night before our weddding and our wedding night probably 6 months before our wedding date. Last month I got our rooms for before and after that. (We will be in Vegas for 5 nights)

We booked the Vista Suite as soon as it became available, about ten months out.  We're at less than two months now, and we still haven't booked the rest of our stay.  Palazzo finally has a deal up on SmarterVegas, so we might do that soon.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

We booked at the same time we booked our wedding date.  But any time the rates went down all I had to do was email my WC and she adjusted the rates for us.  So in the end we got a great rate without all the stress!

Got a great promo code through email for the Mirage back in November and sent it off to our guests.  Our wedding is June 1.  Most people booked it since it was easy to cancel and get a better deal later.  I also booked a Tower Suite for us at the time hoping I would get a promo for it closer to the date.  The room prices are much higher now and the suites are completely booked for the week we are there.
