Rehearsal Dinner - Freemont Area

Anyone have any good ideas for a rehearsal dinner in Downtown Freemont?  We wanted to extend the invite to the rest of our guests not in the wedding party for cocktails after the rehearsal dinner too.  We saw a place called Hennesy's and thought it might be a fun atmosphere yetgood for cocktails after too.

Any other ideas or good or bad things to say about Hennesey's

Firelfy is downtown in Freemont street. Great food, trendy/laid back atmosphere, and delicious sangria.

And a fantastic view of the light show.

Is it just me...their website looks kind of cheesy.  I've heard quite a few people recommend them but when I wen't to the website I didn't love it.

I wouldnt judge a place on its website... look at the reviews on here and Tripadvisor. It is so popular because if you get a window seat you have an amazing view of the Fremont Street experience.

However they are now closed Mondays and Tuesdays until March next year (although they are honouring any existing reservations)

The food has rave reviews, the atmosphere and drinks are also really good!

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't judge by the website.  Firefly is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Vegas.

I would also recommend The Golden Nugget.  Have dinner at Vic and Anthony's then head up to Golddiggers for dancing.  There is also a great view of the street show.

If you are looking for a slick website then you might want to stick with a club on the strip.  Downtown is a little cheesy for kitsch's sake.  That's why it is awesome.

Pretense is off.  Fun is on.

I don't get married often, but when I do, I do it in Las Vegas.

I like hanging out at Golden Nugget by the pool. In the evenings, after the pool itself is closed, you can go sit in the cabanas and relax, usually it's a 1 drink minimum to sit there. They have fires going and space heaters in the winter. I've seen poker tables out there. But I like it to be able to catch up with my friends and just talk and drink. there's also a hot tub you can jump in if that's your thing.

I've heard good things about FireFly from my friends who are locals. I havn't been there yet, but I did inquire about doing a reception there. Their packages arent to badly priced.
