I have been engaged for 8 months and we just recently made the decision to get married in Vegas - May 16, 2011!! This board has been SOOO helpful with pulling this all together so fast!! Already have a lot done (ceremony, reception, dresses) but still have a lot to do (hair & makeup, transportation, groomsmen suits)!! Anyways, I'm sure I'll be posting more, just wanted to say hi and thanks for all the help already!

Thanks for the warm welcomes! I have a feeling I am going to be on here a lot!!

Wedding Ceremony will be at VOF at Mandalay Bay, reception at Maggiano's. Still trying to figure out transportation, really think the Double Decker bus would be perfect, but I've read some bad reviews on here about them. Kind of makes me nervous!! Also really want to get hair and makeup figured out. Emailed Francesca Lombardo a few weeks ago, she got back to me right away and then with the holidays I didn't get back to her. I emailed her on Monday letting her know I definitely wanted her and haven't heard back from her.

I'm kind of thinking maybe I should look into the salon at Mandalay Bay, but haven't seen anyone on here who has used them.

That's really all I have done. Picked out a dress way back in June when we were planning a wedding at home, I'm really hoping it isn't going to be to heavy and hot for Vegas! Just ordered Bridesmaid dresses too. But so much still to do! Yikes!

I'm using Francesca - I know she's been working at some sort of convention in LV and it's been crazy hours (she posted something on FB about heading to work at 2AM). I hope she gets back to you because she's fantastic. I've already had a trial and she'll be doing my hair/makeup for my boudoir shoot next month.

If we were having our wedding on the strip, I totally would have done VOF, gorgeous! Anyway, everyone on here is extremely helpful!

Welcome and Congrats! Another one using Francesca here. She's been busy lately so her replied have been a bit slow. I emailed her a week ago and she didn't get back to me til a few days later which is not her usual. She's really great though!
