Short or Long Dress

Hi Ladies, I can't decide what length of dress to go with. I was just wondering what length you all went with and if you are insteresting in posting a picture of it. :) Oh and if you could include what month you're getting married in?
Thanks Ladies!

I considered a shorter dress but ultimately I chose a long dress, but I had a bustle put in it to help for after the ceremony. There is a picture of it in my planning bio (link below) and I am getting married in 12 days (May 22).

I had a long, trumpet style dress with a chapel train that I bustled for the reception. My wedding was a week and a half ago.

I had considered purchasing a short dress for gambling after our reception, but I ended falling asleep ridiculously early and never went out after our reception!

I had a long dress, with a chapel length train---and I wouldn't have done otherwise!! (We got married in March though---I'm sure I might have felt differently if we got married in July though.)

I suggest wearing whatever you feel most comfortable in. Lucky for you, lots can be done in Vegas (including pictures---all of ours were inside, save a few) inside!

I'm wearing a long dress!  I always assumed I wanted a fitted dress, somewhat light, no "poofiness"... BUT I fell in love with this dress:

(Also, my wedding is in September... which means I might be CRAZY)

My dress is long! I don't have a picture, but my wedding is in 12 days, and I'll be sure to post one.

BTW our wedding and reception are located in MB, so I will not have to go outside unless we decide to take pictures for us, and casinos are usually freezing!

I chose a long dress (picture in bio), but I'm starting to wish I had chosen short, just because its a little different.  I just try not to look at pictures so I don't go through with getting another dress.  I say if short suits you, go for it!

I also chose a long dress - I'll also have it bustled for the reception.  I originally didn't think I wanted a train but couldn't resist once I tried on this dress... I'm getting married May 6, 2011.  Just go for what you fall in love with!

I originally thought short, but then fell in love with a long one.  Will be bustled for reception like most of you ladies:

I'm doing both. I have a long dress for ceremony in the morning and then wearing a tea length dress in the afternoon for photo tour and then dinner. I got both on sale so it was an easy decision and I love them both.

    pabride2010 - I am SWOONING over your dress!!!  <--- Jealous. :)

This was my second marriage, and I wanted something a little less bridal and also something I MIGHT be able to use again. I went with a short dress (it also has a bolero jacket the color of the sash):

    Back of the dress:

And here's the jacket on at dinner:

MNVegas - your photo/dinner dress is actually on my list of dresses I love! What was the fit like compared to regular dresses?
