Wow, Time is flying! There is so much going on I don't even know where to begin. I'm finally going home ina couple of weeks. FI is purchasing a home at his new duty station (I go back to civilian life after I return). I still don't know if the house will close by the time I get there, then we're off to Vegas then Fiji. Looks like FI's traveling schedule for work is pretty heavy so I'm not excited about being in a new city and home alone :-((

Anyway's that about all that's going on with me. I still need to book the limos for the day and look for a place to get my nails done in Vegas and of course, pay all the vendors next month.....so much to do so little time.

    That is very exciting! I am willing my ticker to move faster, I am getting so sick of waiting now.

    Re planning, we are almost done! Just need to order the cake, maps/menus and favours. Once we have a clearer idea of numbers we will then confirm our Yolos reservation and finalise numbers and pay for it all....!

    I also just found out that Firefly* Downtown is now closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and noone there bothered to let me know - I am booked on a Monday night for my Bachelorette dinner... so back to the drawing board with that as well.

    We got bought our first wedding list gift yesterday which is making it all seem rather real now!

    Oh Gribbles, I think time will fly for you!! That's pretty bad out Firefly not informing you of the change. How are you going to handle the favors? Are you having them shipped to the US or are you bringing them with you?

    I am having my bachelorette party on a Sunday night and ran into the same problem.  Lightgroup had some great and reasonalby priced packages.  You can go to lightgroup.com or pm me with your e-mail and I can forward you the info on packages they e-mailed me.

    Encorebride, I think I read in a poll we had that you are taking your honeymoon in Fiji?  Are you doing an overwater bungalow?  That is my dream location to go someday!

    Yes, we are going to Fiji. As far as I know there is one overwater bungalow in Fiji, Tokoriki. We are not staying there but on an oceanfront bure with a private plunge pool on the main island...can't wait!!

    Hey Gribbles - they have a Firefly on Harmon (Across from Hard Rock) also.
    (Not quite the same as being on Fremont Street, though!)

    @ Encore, sooooo jealouus of your honeymoon location, It's on my bucket list of things to do.

    I am still 6 months + out on planning. Still trying to decide what to do for favors (candybar or pre wrapped items), still need to pick out BM dresses, help figure out what the FI and his party will be wearing, finish the invitations, start the wedding programs, decide on if I will have usher's or not (have 17 and 13 year old nieces that want to be involved some how), see if I can get a suite/room attached to the Media Suite at Mandalay Bay (I hear some of them come that way) and a few other things I'm sure that I'm forgetting right now.....
