new york new york penthouse reception

Does anyone have an experience/reviews/tips on having a in suite reception in the new York penthouse. Is it hard to get food and stuff in. We will use a iPod for music and provide the food. Will it be hard for guests to get to the room. Any ideas or information you could give would be appreciated

Hmm I've actually never heard of anyone having it there. I know someone brought it up a couple months ago though. Sorry I'm not much help.

I thought someone JUST had their reception there... let's look back and do some investigating.

I think someone said they were going to but couldn't find anything saying they did it.

I called the hotel re: catering and they said its fine, what they dont know doesnt hurt them. We only have 15 of us total so its a small group. The room looks pretty great from the youtube videos. I dont know about getting guests in the room. We are all going in at once so our guests will be with us.

When we stayed there (not the penthouse but the ziggurat suite), it didn't require key cards to get into the elevators or anything, so as long as the guests know which tower of elevators to use.  They should be fine getting up there.
