Lakeside Weddings

Anyone have experience with Lakeside Weddings? I am a local bride thinking about having my ceremony and reception there. They are our strongest contender to date and we have been planning on being married at the beginning of June. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I am getting married there May 28, 2011.  I LOVE it there and have had nothing but a great experience so far.  Sometimes it takes a few days for them to get back to you but I always get the answer

I've been thinking of that place too!  Is the ceremony area as nice in person as in the pics?  What about the reception space?  I'd want to put little white lights all over the place.

The gardens are absolutely beautiful.  I am getting married in Heritage (its the bigger garden) and depending on the time of year would depend on how green the gardens are.  There are a couple of different reception places one is inside the other is sort of inside/outside.  There is a removable top that comes off so you can look up at the stars.  The inside area also has a patio so people can go in and out.  They do have lots of twinkle lights (the while lights you want) all over the place but I am sure that you could add more if you wanted 

The good thing is that the caterer and florist is right on site.  The cake people are not that far away but will be there earlier enough if there was to be an issue with the cake.  To be honest when I looked at the website for the cake if it was not included with the package I probably would have never given them a shot.  After having a meeting with them and cake testing...WOW they blew me away!
