After reception location...

I know some of you guys were helping me out with this and I wanted to let you know what I came up with.  The only place that would let me reserve spaces without having a beverage contract was Caramel in Bellagio.  The only catch is if someone buys out that bar for that night I will be screwed, but she said she'll know 30 days before so I would be able to figure something else out.

Thanks for posting - that is great to know!  I had just started looking in to Caramel at Bellagio as a potential after-reception location.  Did the person you talked to mention how common it is for someone to buy out the bar for the night?

good to know!! ive been looking for somewhere to go after the reception but haven't found anywhere yet without doing a beverage contract. I was set on The Chandelier at the Cosmopolitan but same thing.

She didn't really give me definite info on if she thought there was a buyout.  She just said she would know 30 days before.  She got my phone number also and said she would let me know if there was a buyout.

Thanks for the info!  We are also looking for an after reception place and prefer somewhere in Bellagio since that is where we are staying for the duration of our wedding and we are having our transportation taking everyone back to Bellagio after our reception since that is where we are getting married earlier in the day.  We were thinking about The Fontana Bar which has the fountains right outside of it but it is only open until 1:00 am and we wouldn't have a lot of time there by the time we all get back to Bellagio after our reception and I saw that Caramel is open til 4:00 am.  We'll check out both places while we are there in March and let you all know any additional information that we may find.  Thanks for the heads up!!
