At home Vegas themed party

Hi ladies,
I'm getting married in Vegas, and having a Celebration Party at home when we return... I would like the party to be Vegas themed too.  I was thinking that each table could be a different hotel on the Vegas strip... has anyone ever done anything like that?  Just looking for some ideas on what I could do at each table for a centerpiece?? All I can think of a blown up framed picture of the hotel at each table.. maybe get some trinkets from each hotel when I am out there?  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated... thanks!

When you said Vegas-themed party, I pictured long tables with tableclothes that had a different picture of the strip on them! Not sure how you would go about getting that done...just a thought!

What a fun idea!  I would play off each hotels 'theme' for each table.  NYNY - Statue of Liberty, Paris - Eifel Tower, Mirage - white tiger, MGM Grand - movie stuff, etc

Oh man, I may be "borrowing" your idea.  We have 19 guests coming with us to Vegas.  I'd like to have a party when we get home for everyone that couldn't come. 

The idea of the tablecoths is fab!  I'll try some googling and see if there is a way to do it.  Also, picking up some items during the trip is genius.

I like the photo idea. Maybe scatter poker chips on the tables, like what people do with rose petals or crystals.

Our intention was not to a have a Vegas themed party, but just throwing some Vegas-y items around our AHR. We are creating gel candle centerpieces in margarita glasses and floating either dice or poker chips in them. We got dice 5/$1 at Michael's and a poker set with 200 poker chips at Target for about $10. I initially wanted to name the tables after the hotels as well, but now we are talking about just using jumbo playing card and "numbering" the tables that way.

very cool ideas, ladies.  i'm undecided on an AHR - although my FMIL has pretty much stated that there will be one, haha.  so, i'm going to pass this idea along to her!

You can also get post cards of each hotel. Go to walgreens  or wal mart here to get stuff for favors. Have fun and happy planning.
