Society Cafe @ Encore for bachelorette dinner?

Okay so my bridesmaids are having a bit of a disagreement as to where we should go for my bachelorette dinner on Sunday night one of the ideas that one had was Society Cafe.....then the piano bar in Encore (for my older relatives and pregnant bridesmaids)....then off to XS (it will be a Sunday for those of us who are still going).

It is $42+tax and tip so say $50 for a three course set menu.

I like it because I think it will make it alot easier instead of splitting checks amongst 20 women, also everything will be at the same hotel so we don't have to drag everybody all over Vegas. 

So my questions are

1. Has anybody eaten here before and what do you think?

2. Is $50 too much to ask everyone to pay for dinner(this includes no drinks)?

3. Any other ideas or suggestions?

I had my Bachelorette Dinner there. When we arrived we had the option of a set menu, which some people went for, or ordering a la carte. I think $50 is reasonable for a decent meal in Vegas (especially as it is a special occasion).

They don't require a deposit upfront, which was a huge plus for us, and we requested seats in front of the fabulous pink sofas which they honoured.

The food was just fabulous! There is a great bar which people just went up to and paid for their own drinks - it made it easier to keep track when the bill arrived. The bar area is also good for mingling, whilst waiting for members of the party to arrive.

If you are worried about the expense of the evening, try and get free entry into XS. We went and asked at the Red player card desk and although we weren't members, the woman gave us 10 free passes anyway!

The queue for XS was horrendous, but I had on my 'Hen Night' sash and we got to skip the queue which was amazing, because the doormen were doing noone any favours!

Thanks Gribbles! I have read the reviews on Tripadvisor and I def think we are going to book it. Can't wait....very excited!
