• Megruth photography did a blog post about someone who had gotten married at that Chapel.

There is the post. I just booked my wedding there yesterday after seeing her pictures. Plus they allow outside vendors for an additional fee of $150.00. The coordinator was very helpful and answered all my questions.

• We're booked there for 11/11. I booked based on the Meg Ruth pics as well :). My coordinator is pretty good, the first girl I dealt with was better but apparently when I booked I was supposed to ask for her specifically. Their packages are super affordable and they seem somewhat flexible (we decided to use a CD instead of their pianist.). The up lighting can be changed to your choice of color, and they have altar decorations (trees with flower pomander things and flameless candles) so no need to splurge on altar sprays which can be super expensive at some places.

Love the pics there! And I'm so sad to read that Priscilla of Boston went out of business. The only dress I liked as much as they one I ended up getting was by them! Unfortunately they were a little too expensive for our budget.
• mizutamababy- I loved that dress, too!!! Do you mind me asking what dress did you end up wearing? I'm trying to find something similar in style.

Also Crazybeautiful, I'm not sure if I want to use the pianist or use a cd. Was there an additional fee to use your own CD? And is there a specific reason why you are choosing to use a CD?

• No extra fee for the CD. I was worried about that too but they said it wasn't a problem. We were going through the songs they offered and just couldn't pick 4 we wanted. We really wanted to use songs that are special to us. Here is a link to their music selections, they have a lot of good songs, but I'm a music lover, and lyrics are what makes a song meaningful to me, so I decided to go with a CD. Only problem is they only play part of the songs, but we'll make it work. http://www.flamingolasvegas.com/weddings/flamingo-las-vegas/flv-unforgettables-music.html :)

• WOW!!!! Thank you soooo much the place is gorgeous!!! Just another question I was reading some of her captions and she stated she was kinda skeptical walking through the casino..Ive never been to vegas so has anyone actually seen the hotel? Is it that bad? I am such a review freak so I was looking at tripadvisor and needsless to say they do not have the best reviews but has anyone seen it first hand? Thanks again ladies.

I haven't been in a few years, and I was really concerned with the reviews too. I talked to my coordinator and she said they are going to be doing a lot of renovating, so not quite sure how it's going to be when we get there... I decided we would just stay somewhere else close by, and I wouldn't stress on the condition of the casino since we'd only be walking through quickly. I've got my fingers crossed that they do some major renovations by November! Hopefully you get some responses from people who have been recently. All I've heard is that it's kind of smokey, and outdated. My uncles going out to Vegas in May, so I'm going to send him scouting for me :)

• I actually spoke to Meg Ruth and she said that one of the draw backs about the chapel was the long walk to the actual chapel. I'm not staying at the hotel, so for the price and how beautiful it is, I don't think the walk will be a concern.
Thank you Crazybeautiful, I'm going to think about it some more, but a CD might be the way to go.
• You're welcome :). We spent hours going through their songs, and we did pick some we liked but felt like we were settling, so decided on a CD. We may even edit the songs so that our fav parts play! They will also play any song of your choice on the piano, there is a $30 fee and you would have to provide sheet music. :)

Sure, I had it made by a bridal tailor on etsy. Ting Bridal

My dress was the Lanvu style. I had tulle for the skirt like in the first/second picture instead of a satin skirt. The quality/sewing was amazing and I didn't need to have any alterations done which was a nice money saver. Even though I know the thought of buying a dress online can be an uneasy one, if I were doing my wedding all over again I would re-order from her in a heartbeat.

[QUOTE]The rooms are a bit dated, and the casino could use some updating. It's what my FI and I call "Love Boat Chic". Also, that mirror on the ceiling cracks me up every time I see it. :) They call their whirlpools "Luv Tubs", but they aren't shaped like a heart (thank god).

Oh god, that mirror LOL. We stayed at a hotel with a mirror above the bed one time... I've been convinced ever since that amateur porn is definitely not ever in the cards for us- not that we were ever considering, but you know.
