Grooms day ideas

Hello ladies!   Brides get extra attention with all the bridal showers, teas, shopping & so forth.  I researched some ideas for my FI & his guys so he can get that extra attention too. I wanted to share them to pass on to your Grooms or their Best Men.  Here are a few:
*The Gun store (this one's a little pricey about $499 per person)
*Indoor skydiving (this is what FI is doing, this starts at about $75 per person)
*Helicopter tours
*Bungie Jumping @ Circus Circus
*Pole Position Raceway (I think theses are go-karts $55 per person)
*canyon ziplining ($149 per person)
*The Auto Collections museum @ Imperial Palace ($8.95 per person)

There is also the driving range. My FI and his Best Man just went 18.00 for both of them.

There are also a ton of hiking trails (for free!)...that's what DH and the boys did. Brought beers and cigars for when they all got to the top....well, that never happened and they somehow lost the goodies on the way up, along with a few of the guys who couldn't handle the "mountain."

FI has an appointment for all of the guys at Art of Shaving in Mandalay Place while the girls are getting our hair done.  I'm happy he decided to do it, because he always misses a spot while shaving and then I get distracted by that one little stray hair under his ear...

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

How much is it to get a shave at the Art of Shaving? Are you paying for all the guys to get it done, or just your FI?

I've just looked at their pricing menu. This is a great idea - makes the build up  bit special for them too. Laughing

FI's getting the royal shave for himself, and paying for all of the guys to get the traditional shave.  I think this is sort of like bridesmaids and hair: if you make everyone come along and do it, you pay, but if you say, "Hey, I'm going to this place to get a shave, if you want to come along it's $35" then it's on them because it's optional.

My FI and his groomsmen were looking at driving a Ferrari at a racetrack.  The website is exoticracing.com.  A little pricy at $299 but when else will he ever get to race a Ferrari.

Last time we were in Vegas, my FI went to The Gun Store.  For about $200, he made a personalized package.  There are no gun ranges in Canada, and he had a blast.

Both of these would be optional to our groomsmen and guests, as we cannot afford to treat everyone.  I like the idea of the groomsmen getting a shave together though, and I am going to suggest it to my FI later.
