Rehearsal Dinner?

My FI and I are planning to do a wedding rehearsal, but we're stumped as to where to do it. Any suggestions?

Re: Rehearsal Dinner?

  • We are doing ours at Battista's hole in the wall.  It is right off the strip behind the Flamingo.  Prices are about 20-30/head but that includes their house wine, salad or soup, bread, entree (selection is normal italian fare), and cappucino drink at the end of the meal.  It is super old style vegas too, and we loved it when we went on our scouting trip back in October.  They also accomodate bigger groups, since we are planning on a group of about 55 right now. They also have this adorable acordian player that walks around, and will likely be some added entertainment ;)
  • we almost did battistas - but settled on Firefly - they do a 35/pp 4 course dinner and we'll do pitchers of mojitos and sangria. It's not really a rehearsal dinner but more a family dinner the night before the big day. We're having a cocktail reception, no sit down meal so we thought a good hearty meal for this one would be a good idea :)

Battistas is a ton of fun for the old school vibe, the food is good and the unlimited house wine is a plus! lol

  • Is there a specific hotel everyone will already be staying at?  That might change the suggestions you receive.

We had ours at Hussong's Cantina in the Mandalay mall that connects MB and Luxor.  It's great value, full bar, Fri/Sat nights they have a three piece mariachi band that will sing just about anything.

  • we're doing ours at either P.F. Chang's or Battista's.
  • Yeah, we're all staying at the Flamingo. We're doing the wedding there as well.

  • Margaritaville would be an option; it's attached to Flamingo.
