Need a place the night before for Dinner

We are getting married on a Saturday but we are going to invite everyone to dinner the night before.  Everyone will be paying for themselves but I want something that will be a reasonable price like no more then $15 a person.  I also want it to be on the strip because after dinner the girls will be going out for our thing and the guys their thing.  Does anyone have any suggestions for some good spots?  There will probably be about 40 to 50 of us.

What hotel will you be at? I would look there first, also.....For the night before my friends wedding we all went to ESPN Zone for dinner, not to cheap but not expensive IMO. Also are you going to try and make reservations?

Well we are either staying at MB or MGM, but we are not too picky about which hotel we have dinner at.  And yes we will be making reservations that way we wont have to wait and we can all sit close.

I'm not sure about buffet prices, but I think that would be the easiest way for all the guests to pay for themselves. I believe you can also call ahead when you have a large group.

Looks like in MGM they have "Cabana Grill" and it said avg. check $15pp and you have "House of Blues" in MB, not sure about prices?? also I am not sure, but if you tell them that large of a group they may try and get you to use a set menu ?? also I am not sure if you are open to a buffet, but I have heard the one at the M Resort is good and is $25pp but incl. beer and wine.

there are a couple restaurants on the strip that aren't terribly expensive, that would be fun for a meal before going out:

    Margaritaville at The Flamingo
Grand Wok and Sushi Bar in the MGM
    Cheesecake Factory at Caesars Palace

House of Blues and ESPN Zone are good rec's as well.

I would recommend some place like ESPN Zone or Diablos.  They are closer to your hotels and better priced then most of the restraunts in MB or MGM.  If you are going to be drinking, then you should really plan on spending more than $15pp.

I LOVE the M buffet, but it is really far away from the strip (like at least 10 minutes by car.)

Also, most of the hotels have cafes that usually have good food.  I really enjoyed the LUX cafe at the Venetian.  HUGE selection.

You are going to be hard pressed to find a place to accomodate that many people without planning it in advance. And by planning it in advance you will find that you will probably have to use a group menu, make deposit, etc... I don't think that just walking into a place at say 6:00 and asking for a siting for 40 is going to be accommodated. You definitely won't all be sitting together. And then come the whole issue of the check. Will they seperate it by person? Make one whole check etc? And then add on gratuity.

I would say go to a buffet or just have everybody meet at a bar in one of the hotels, have a drink and then go out.
