Getting your holiday on! (PIP)

Have ya'll sent out your Christmas cards yet?  Any parties or family time plans?

I think a friend and I might travel over the break since DH has to work... (And Christmas here is like Valentine's Day, not a family holiday.) We're debating on splurging a little for Korea or just going somewhere closeby and throwing ourselves a beauty day.

We finally got our Christmas cards mailed out last week to everyone stateside.  In Japan we send out New Years greetings which are delivered on New Years Day, and since we have to print and send out about 70 postcards in total (we're lucky enough to be young and not one of those families that have to send out 400 per year) so I went ahead got the ball rolling on ours today.  Pics courtesy of our main photog; I can't wait to have all our pics soon!

Your cards came out really nice!!!  Korea sounds like a good time too!!

I'm trying to get ours out this weekend hopefully.  We do have a book club christmas party to go to on Saturday so that will officially kick off our holiday season aside from when I hung up the christmas lights last weekend.  We still need to go get a tree though.

I've always wanted to go to one of those posh book club things, lol.  I read a lot but never have anyone to discuss any of it with.  What kind of books do ya'll read?

Many props to you for hanging your own lights!  I'm sure they look fantastic.

Thanks a lot!  I'm hoping we can swing Korea... It's a nice compromise for not being able to go home for the holidays.
