AW your vendors

I have just finished my save the dates and they are headed out the door.  I also just booked my piano man and these checks made me want to AW my vendors NOW intead of waiting until the end.  So here we go:

Delight Boutique Stationery took my inspiration invite (that someone posted here) and made a great STD with it.  She'll be using the same design and/or motif for the invites. Visit them here:  http://delightboutique.com/

My poker chips!  We did fun poker chips to go out with the STDs and they made it very easy for me.  I would recommend calling though because the customer service is second to none.  Verna was super sweet to work with.  Find more about Best Wedding Favors here:  http://www.bestweddingfavors.com/

I love my talent booker that I worked with to find my piano man.  She can find you just about anything you need in the way of music.  She is also helping me find a baker that can help with a low cost groom's cake.  Cynthia has been so helpful.  Learn more about Cynthia or contact her directly at http://classicalentertainment.com/.

I figure you shouldn't have to wait for 8 months to hear about great people that I am working with.

What about you?  Do you have any vendors you want to AW now during the process?

Now with more wedded bliss.

I don't get married often, but when I do, I do it in Las Vegas.

This is such a neat thread Smokey!

I don't have many vendors I can review now - definitely my invitations lady from Etsy.com! She is fantastic!

Also, I'm looking forward to get our cake cutting set at a great price from this website:

I'm going to add some more if anyone comes to mind :)

    Great idea Smokey!

I want to AW my bakery Babycakes. They have been really responsive to my annoying questions and with working with my designs.

And Pam at the Palette because she is just so super easy to work with.

I am making our invitations so I may AW myself next week if I get them done!

Chocolate Lushes. They are making my edible wedding favors. They are local and will deliver for free and have been so nice and easy to work with. Great customer service and their edible favors look so yummy!

Pam from the Palette.  She has been amazing to work with and has helped me adjust my order several times.  She also responds to emails almost immeditaely.  I can't believe how reasonable her prices are too, and she's even delivering our reception table decor.

Retro Bakery! I seriously don't know how I will wait 7 months to have some cupcakes. We are planning on going out there the day we fly in, and probably also the day of the bach parties. Whenever someone talks to us about the wedding, we always throw in a comment about Retro and the cupcakes :)

All of my vendors have been great, except my dress shop that closed a month after I bought my dress so I had to pick it up before alterations were done and find someone to do my alterations (I'll post a full review in another month or so - wedding is in 19 days).

We're having our reception at Black Mountain Golf & Country Club and the coordinator there has been absolutely amazing.  She has made us feel like we're the only couple she's working with - always has time for us and is just the sweetest woman.

Our cake is coming from Albertson's - it tastes so good and can't beat the price (to feed approx 150 plus delivery, it's under $300).

Like I said, I'll post all the reviews next month, but I'll be happy to share any info on my vendors if anyone wants more info.

I must be slow, but what does AW stand for? I get what this post is doing, reviewing vendors, but AW has me scratching my head.  Also, while on the topic of abbreviated wording and acopnyms, what does FI mean? :)

I have no idea what "AW"ing the vendors means, BUT I think it means giving a review, so here's ours so far!

Marc and Cassy at Maggiano's are wonderful!  They are super helpful and answered all of my silly/stupid questions.  They even held our date for us a little longer than usual until we could get the deposit in.

Tyler Freear is an amazing photographer.  We met with him and I am so excited to have him shoot our wedding!  He is a really friendly guy and answered all my questions (I seem to have TONS of questions, haha).  He seems to be very easygoing and open to letting us do whatever we want on our wedding day (as opposed to some photogs who seem to push their ideas on you).
