Anyone us Joe's Stone Crab for their reception?

I am interested in booking it for my dinner reception. I would prefer their outdoor space but am open to whatever they have available. Has anyone held their reception there? Was there a room minimum? I have quite some time before my wedding (18 months) but I am just trying to get an idea of what I will be able to afford. I will probably have no more than 20 guests.

Thanks

I'm getting married September of next year and have booked Joe's for my dinner reception.  I was in Vegas a couple of weeks ago and looked at Joe's privite dining area (called the GiGi room)  It was beautiful, it has a bar and there are many windows where you can see the strip.  I am getting married on a thursday and the room minimum I was quoted and that is on my contract is $3000 for food and beverage....they do have dinner packages which range from 59.95/person to $84.95/person. I was told they no longer do alcohol packages so you pay per drink .  I'm expected around 20-30 guests as well. any other questions, just let me know.  there was someone that was recently married and had her reception at Joe's outside, I can't remember her name though....hope this helps

Thanks a bunch.  Your information is very helpful. I can only imagine what the minimum would be for the weekend if it is 3k on a Thursday.

We considered Joe's for our reception. The food is amazing and the Gigi room is really nice! The room minimum for our wedding (dinner on a Saturday in November) was 5k. The also have a semi- private room and it had a lower room minimum. We almost went with them, but then we discussed drink prices and they were a little high for our liking, but we still love the place! :) The outside area is nice, but I have no idea what the room minimums are like since it's not what we wanted. The people we were dealing with were super nice and responsive, so it's worth just sending an email with your questions!

We just had our reception here in October.  We used their outdoor patio space - I don't believe they do sit-down dinners in the outdoor patio though, only cocktail-style with high tables.  When I booked in May or so of this year, they had set packages for the outdoor patio ($x for up to 60 people, $y amount for 60-80 people, etc) that included passed hor'd'oeuves and wine/beer/non-alcoholic drinks).

We had a GREAT experience at Joe's - I HIGHLY recommend them. Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions about them.   There are reviews and pictures in my bio below.
