We just got engaged this week, so no reception site yet (going to the bridal show in August to get some ideas), but the ceremony will be at my church.

Where is the bridal show going to be at and what day? I am getting married in Vegas in April 2011 and a bridal show could really be helpful. :)

Welcome. I am getting married at Artisan and reception at Maggiano's

    Ceremony: Caesars Palace, Juno Garden
Reception: Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak, and Stone Crab (...and they need a shorter name!)

And we'll be staying at Caesars.

I'm getting married in the Venetian Chapels and having my reception at the club in TAO. They are closed on Mondays and so I rented out the whole space. The only reason I'm getting married at the Venetian is because like you, I want the ceremony and reception to be in the same place! Ceremonies at the Venetian are pricey and the packages aren't that good compared to some of the others. I really wanted to have my ceremony at the classico chapel as well but they stopped doing weddings on Mondays!!

Like the others have said, it was really important to have the ceremony and reception in the same place, so we did CP Venus Garden and the reception in the Roman ballroom at CP.

I am having my ceremony and reception at the same place because it is so much more convenient. It is at Emerald @ Queensridge over by Boca Park in Summerlin and it is beautiful! They also have the biggest bridal suite in all of Vegas. 6 make up stations! ;)

I definitely don't think you can go wrong with Ceremony at Caesars, my FI loved their chapel, but I talked her out of it lol.  We're having the ceremony and reception at Mix Restaurant:

Ceremony at Caesar's Palace Venus Garden.

Still undecided about the reception.  Right now we have Il Fornaio in NYNY booked (don't like that its so far though)

Other ideas, PF Changs, Maggianos or Trevi (all within a block of CP)

I was just in Vegas this past weekend (Scouting trip- saw a billboard for a Bridal Shower, that's in August)

I am getting married at the Chapel Of Flowers - still deciding between the Glass Garden and the Vicorian Chapel.

Our reception is down the other end of the Strip at Rumjungle in Mandalay Bay. We are hiring a party bus and doing a photo tour as we transport our guests in between.

We are doing the Ceremony at Mandalay Bay with the reception down to three choices...... the Mix at Mandalay Bay, a restraunt at the Wynn (am drawing a blank on the name), or Trevi at Ceasers Palace.

Our ceramony is at Caesars Palace in the Venus Garden and we are having an in-suite reception at Aria which is 2 hotels down from Caesars. Our reception will be about 2 hours after the ceramony so we can do a strip tour with our photographer so that gives our guests plenty of time to change cloths if they like and work their way down to Aria.

Ceremony at Mandalay Bay Chapel, Reception at China Grill (at Mandalay Bay).

We kept everything at Mandalay Bay, our wedding was in the chapel and the reception was at Rumjungle.  Even though we're locals, we spent the weekend at THEhotel at MB.  Made everything so easy!

Ceremony at Caesars (Juno Garden) and reception at Maggianos.  I hired a shuttle to take everyone from the ceremony to the reception and then back to their car or hotel at the end of the night.

We are having our ceremony at the Valley of the Falls (Mandalay Bay) and will be holding our reception in a Vista Suite.  We are doing something more simple because we will be having our big reception back in Indiana the following month!

We are doing our ceremony at the Gazebo location at the Flamingo and the reception in a Vista Suite and Mandalay.  Not sure if you are wondering about prices but for me bringing in our own Photographer (Todd) and Florist (Pallette) were musts, I didn't want/need everything in the packages.  So we were able to Alacarte book the ceremony site, get charged the bringing in our own vendor fees, CD player fee (we want our own music) for $1,025 (and they accidently gave us Thursdays rates, so it was only $860 total for us, but the thousand price is for a Fri. or Sat. date).

    Good luck and welcome!

We did both the ceremony and the reception in the Vista Suite.  Saved us a buttload of money and headache.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
