MB Cabana Rental

Hi ladies, The wedding is only 3 weeks away and I'm trying to finalize some last minute details. We were considering renting a cabana at MB to relax (either the day before or the day after the wedding). Our plan was that our guests could filter in and out all day. The problem is most of our guests are staying next door at the Luxor and the person I spoke to at MB said to use the cabana you must be a guest of MB. My question is #1 has anyone used a cabana, and #2 do they enfore "guests only"

    Havnen't rented a cabana their, but its a great idea.  My friend informed me that they do enforce their rules pretty well. She said theres some kind of guard at the turn tables and that they check a card that they give you at the hotel.   Sorry im not much help....

    Did you tell the person at MB that your guests were staying at the Luxor?  They're owned by the same company, so maybe they can give you a break?

    We rented a Cabana the day after our wedding for our guests and it was totally worth it! Everyone loved it. Plus, if you tip well, they will keep the beverages coming :) And, we even got to use some of the lounge chairs and patio of the Cabana right next to ours since it was vacant and we had so many people in ours- they just asked that move if someone rents it. Also, they do enforce the guest policy, they have security guards at the turnstile checking your room key.

    You can't get into the pool without a room key from THE Hotel or MB.  Basically you will have to escort guests in or do pass around rooms keys.

    I was just there this past weekend and you have to have a room key from Mandalay bay, THE hotel or the Four Seasons and they will only let you bring in 4 people total per room card at a time. Not sure if you want to be running to the turnstiles every time you want to bring other people in.  It is a walk to the pool area from the entrance.  Its a highly desired pool, so they are very strict about admittance.
