Bellagio Wedding - I'm new!

Hi everyone - the Internet says you are the experts so here I am!  Finally decided we love Vegas so planning a wedding for April 5th. We are treating the small group to a stay at Bellagio and we will have a penthouse suite for ourselves.  Has anyone done an insuite reception there?  What are those like? Sounds neat.  Also any tips on logistics for the rest of the trip (like making sure the grandmothers get 3 meals a day and not at Bellagio restaurants for every meal.

Also did anyone hire a photographer in addition to the resort provided photographer? 

Sorry for the lengthy post but I'm pretty much starting from scratch today!

I can't speak to the Bellagio specifically for an in-suite.  However, the location is close to a LOT of other hotels/restaurants, so eating shouldn't be an issue.  It is expensive, mind you, to eat out for every meal.  Your Grandmas should know it's a lot of walking, even just around the Bellagio.  You may want to consider a room with a refrigerator and stop by the grocery store so they have snacks.

I think the VAST majority of us hire photographers in additional to the chapel one - including myself.  The Knottie list (at the top of this board) shows some of the more popular options.  We're going with Mike L, but Bently & Wilson and Tyler Freer are very popular.  We'll have 6 hours with Mike and it's one of the best decisions we've made so far!

I would definitely do an outside photographer so you can get pictures from throughout your day.  Congrats!! Bellagio is gorgeous.

Congrats on the wedding! So close too...you don't have to be on pins and needles for nearly as long as we have! And sounds very intimate and sweet too!

We are getting an outside photographer...I am going with Joey Allen. I really love his photography style and his prices are very reasonable. I have heard awesome things about him.

check out weddingwire.com if you haven't already, they seem to have the best/most reviews on places and people (photographer). But ya I think an outside one is a definite must, just incase the Bellagio provided one doesn't get you the photos you like.  We're going with Digs Studio, absolutely loved them, they're about mid range with pricing.  I'd have to say though finding a photographer was probably the most stressful thing I've done so far.  There are just so many to choose from, it was hard to narrow it down.

you can never have enough wedding pictues!! i would definately hire an outside photographer as well
