Mandalay Bay Vista Suite Reception

Any past brides out there have and tips for  vista receptions?

Where is cheap and nearby to purchase liquor?

Any specific rooms have bad view, non working ipod docking stations?

Decently priced places to rent champagne glasses? or would plastic be okay? or look/feel cheap..

Any tips would be greatly appreciated

I am doing the same thing in May. I am leaning towards using Sams Club for the liquor. And plastic glasses seem fine. It makes sense in a lot of ways, especially since it is most likely a destination wedding (unless you live in Vegas), so guests should understand that. Stick with the newer nice clear/silver plasticware. How many guests are you expecting? Good luck! I would love to hear how it works out..

If you have a rental car, a few miles down the strip from Mandalay is a huge liquor store that has just about anything you could imagine:

    Lee's Discount Liquor‎
9110 South Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89123

    Prices are good too.

My in suite was at Planet Hollywood, not Mandalay but we went to Sam's and whatever Sam's didn't have we found at Lee's.
We also actually found out from our caterer friends tha Sam's allows you to return any food and beverage not opened.  Might be helpful if you aren't sure how much to buy.

We went with clear plastic 9 oz cups and champagne glasses from Party City.  We brought those out with us.  We would not have had room to store glasses.
