Vegas Gun Ranges - Bachelor Party

Heard about a gun range that has buildings and obstacles to shoot around like an urban warfare training centre but can't seem to find it online.  Googled Vegas Gun ranges but didn't find it and don't know the name of the company.

Anyone know of it??

<div>Nah there is supposed to be another one that has something bigger than just the range.  Someone mentioned frontsight and am trying to get a hold of them.  Hopefully they are the right company.   I will post back when I know.  </div><div>
</div><div>Already spoke with the gun store and they are definitely an option.  Just looking into this other place because it is supposed to be like urban warfare training :)  </div>

Your first post sounds like a paintball facility.  They are pretty strict with the guns at the gun store so I doubt there is a place that allows you take guns into the open field.

I took my fiancé to the Gun Store for his birthday last year and he had a blast. Keep in mind it can get crazy expensive! It was a hair under 200 and we were out of there in 20 minutes. He is a police officer so he only wanted to shoot the old school guns because we pretty much own everything else. Get there early because they get busy QUICK. If you figure out where the other one is let me know. He would love a place like that for his bachelor party for before the strip club!

<div>I have been speaking with a representative from The Gun Store Las Vegas and it is still an option for us to rent out the range but I actually tracked down the facility that Chris (OP) was talking about through a vendor we are using.</div><div>
    </div><div>The facility is: </div><div>
    </div><div>Front Sight Firearms Training Facility</div><div><div><a href="http://www.frontsight.com/landingpg-1.asp?src=gaw&kw=front%20sight&gclid=CNKn_tWj96YCFUS5Kgod6RhuCQ" title="Front Sight Firearms Training Facility">http://www.frontsight.com/landingpg-1.asp?src=gaw&kw=front%20sight&gclid=CNKn_tWj96YCFUS5Kgod6RhuCQ</a></div><div>
</div><div>The buildings etc, that Chris (OP) was talking about is part of their tactical scenario training segment of the business.  </div><div>
</div><div>They have instructors with the participants at all times and must abide by the gun laws, safety etc just like the Gun Store they are just offer a variety of different settings and activities.  </div><div>
</div><div>So hopefully it will go well (which ever vendor we end up choosing) because my FI is going there and he better be in on piece for the ceremony LOL <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-tongue-out.gif" border="0" alt="Tongue out" title="Tongue out" /></div></div>

That facility looks like a training academy or something similar.  I also didn't get a feeling that they were going to be letting you shoot a wide array of guns.  Can you sign up without taking a series of classes and is it a class set up or is it like the gun store where you buy your package and get to shooting right away?

<div>It is definitely a training facilty but they do book private groups etc (so not signing up for lessons etc) and can arrange a variety of different activities - just range shooting, lessons, tactical scenarios, martial arts training and so much more.  </div><div>
</div><div>I am just starting the whole process with them but they are very flexible and do have a wide variety of guns.  We discussed some basics gun options and knowing our boys they would want to get into the Uzis, M16s, MP5s and a variety of handguns.</div><div>
</div><div>I will be speaking with Brad (my contact for Front Sight) over the next few days and let you know how it progresses.  If they can offer a more varied and fun experience than the Gun Shop, then we will book with them.  </div>

Well, I only know how the gun store works. It is also super expensive for 30 seconds of bullets on an auto weapon. I'd love to hear more when you get more info. Please post again when you get deets and prices. TIA!!!!!

<div>Well we already have a quote from the gun store and will be going through them for sure now and this is why:</div><div>
</div><div>I spoke with Brad from Front Sight.  On the phone he was very pleasant and helpful.  He said they could work out a half day training session for our guys and that he would suggest they start at 10am until aroudn 3-4pm.  They would be able to work in some range work and some tactical assualt style training.</div><div>
</div><div>Howver, he didn't follow through on an e-mail as promised.  I followed up and he was unwilling to provide a list of available firearms that the guys could select from to see what would interest them as they want to shoot more than the Uzi, M16 and MP5 that he mentioned.  I submitted a list of guns from a list off the gun store's website and his reply was:</div><div><font class="Apple-style-span" color="#000000">
</font></div><div><font class="Apple-style-span" color="#000000">"<span style="border-collapse:collapse;font-family:arial, sans-serif;font-size:15px;line-height:normal;" class="Apple-style-span">Nope, not even close.  The place you want to go is The Gun Store on Tropicana.  They have all this crap and more.  Brad"</span></font></div><span style="border-collapse:collapse;font-family:arial, sans-serif;line-height:normal;" class="Apple-style-span"><p style="font-size:13px;margin:0px;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt;"><font class="Apple-style-span" color="#000000"> </font></span></p></span><div>I again requested a detailed list from him and asked for the basic outline of itinerary for the half day session (IE: a breakdown of activities that they guys would be doing).  He provided nothing and again said if you want entertainment then go to the gun store.</div><div>
</div><div>Well the guys in the group - over half are currently in law enforecement - then more are ex military.  So something like Front Sight would be more entertaining to them than shooting at a target on the wall.  </div><div>
</div><div>However Front Sight is completely unwilling to work with me.  </div><div>
</div><div>They refuse to provide makes/models of guns available so the guys can say ok we want to work with this this and this.</div><div>
</div><div>They refuse actually listen to what I am saying and work with me to put together a list of activities and package.</div><div>
</div><div>I called and spoke with Brad's manager John to explain that I was having difficulty with one of his employees on trying to arrange an event - one that was going to cost a significant amount of money.  John ended up hanging up on me when I pressed him for makes and models of guns and re-iterated that I want to work at putting something together.</div><div>
</div><div>A really frustrating experience and their attitude really stinks.  This is the FIRST vendor in over 40 Vegas vendors I am working with that has acted in this manner.  </div><div>
</div><div>I would not recommend them.  We are definitely not going to pursue this.  </div><div>
    </div><div>
