Venue Change- any outside catering venues???

Hi all,
As some of you know we are in the process of moving our reception to a larger venue for our wedding. Don't want to get into the hairy details of it all but we need a venue that will fit 100.
So far I have two options: Hilton has a 5,000 square foot suite and The Artisan.

The catch: they need to allow outside catering and photography as both of these vendors have already been paid in full with no deposit back for cancellation.
Anyone come across anything that would fit this in their search? I have been looking on the boards for days and these are the only two I have come up with! TIA!!!

Have you looked at renting a house or does it have to be on or near the strip?

you could try the Platinum hotel. I think they require you to use their catering, but I know they allow all other outside vendors.. maybe you can negotiate something to bring in your own catering though.

I agree - try a house rental.

There are options for weddings - the vrbo one listed from Jack may not work as he likes smaller receptions.  I've chatted with Sandie at http://www.vrbo.com/249158 and she's awesome.

Platinum won't let you bring in your own catering. They don't charge any rental fees, so their profits are in meeting food & beverage minimums. Any other items you can bring your own vendor.

A vacation rental might be your best options if your stuck on using your own caterer. Either that or use the caterer's deposit you put down for the rehearsal dinner.

The Artisan is a very small hotel (FI used to work there), and I am not sure where they would honestly fit 100 people for a wedding, just to let you know. There is really no big space anywhere on the grounds. It also has a "haunted mansion" feel to it. It is super cool for a smaller wedding, but not great for a bigger one. However, the sister property to it, RUMOR, has a large outside courtyard that is better able to accomodate your guest count, and very modern. I would look into a house rental, especially since no hotel will let you bring in outside vendors for food, since it takes money directly away from them.
