I emailed the events coordinator at Canaletto over a week ago to finalize the details of my reception. We wanted to add some appetizers and a champagne toast as well as discuss seating arrangments, etc. In the past, she has been incredibly easy to get in touch with.
I emailed her again on Friday, asking if everything was okay. Still no response. I plan on calling her after I'm done teaching today.
I know that people take vacations, get sick, etc, but there are ways to notify people via email that you plan to be out of the office for an extended period of time.
