Woohoo! Signed some contracts!

It feels so real now! We signed and sent off the contract for ceremony and reception at the Platinum as well as our contract for Chelsea Nicole! 10/22/11 it's official!.

Now onto officiant and DJ...and then I can relax a bit. Right? Maybe? Maybe I'll have some time to put together a planning bio.

Can't thank you all enough. I haven't posted much yet, but I've read so many good tips and gathered great info from everyone already!

Congrats on your checks! I love Chelsea Nicole, photography is where I dropped the ball and didn't plan till last min, so she was taken on our date.

OMG LOVE Chelsea Nicole. We already pushed our budget with Ron Miller though, so I tried not to even think about her stuff.

I'm having my reception on October 1st at the Platinum! It's been great planning there so far. If I had found it sooner, I would have skipped the Flamingo ceremony and done it all at Platinum. (*kicking myself thinking of all the 'outside vendor' fees I would have saved.)

Agreed! Nicole at the Platinum has been great to work with! So flexible and willing to adjust prices! I'm slightly nervous about the food (only because we won't have a chance to do a tasting)...so I might be bugging you after your 10/1 wedding to report back.

Chelsea Nicole was a huge splurge...but once I started following her blog, it was kinda like MUST. HAVE. THESE. PICTURES. lol. I'll have to teach another summer class to pay for it.

Congrats.
Platinum is my fall back if we can't get Springs Preserve w/i our budget. Hopefully we started getting some of this figured out next weekend.
BTW has anyone done a scouting trip there yet? Please post some picks if you have.

Don't stress about the food, we had a tasting last month and it was AMAZING!! The portions are pretty big considering the quality of food.  We go back next weekend to finalize the last details with the DJ and to do my hair/make up trial.  If there are any pictures you ladies would like, let me know I will be glad to help
